I got phished once too but the way to block them from acessing your account again is to change your password and secret question and remove the person that sent you the link... that did it for me.

You can easily just check the link while using the steam browser since it won't allow you to download anything by accident. At this point though, phisers are more then obvious (even the new level 3-8 bots).

Note to all people the pishers are now from lvl 3 to 6 and have meduim list of people in thier friendslist also they always show that they are russian and have from 3 to 8 games and some few groups they become active within a few weeks and send links and such.

I keep getting random people sending me friend requests, I decline & block. One time, a random guy tried to friend me. I do not know this person so I block & decline, the person then puts in hie profile description report this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with a link to an imgur image, I report the person & later on he removed it.

I've encountered many phisher bots, how I check for phisher bots is look at their profile, if its private, I deal with them, matters if I check their name history and see [unassigned].
