Steam add recordings to main client so i change steam client from beta to normal version and its working now
It's only when trying to export videos taken on the steam deck.
Surprised not many people got this considering i've had the issue on 3 steam decks and 2 PC's.
Steps to reproduce:
- start Game Recording on Steam Deck
- finish/edit then Share to your PC with same Steam account
- download on PC
- go to View, Recordings and Screenshots, find recording, Share, Export Video File
- either default or custom, Export Video
- error thrown = "failed to export, try again(2)"
This worked for me, thanks!
I actually went from Live to Beta and it fixed this issue for me.
