Changes to DualSense LED don't stick
Changes made to the LED color revert back to the default settings when I leave the LED Settings screen.

Same. I just reinstalled Steam and the problem still occurs.

The way to solve this for me is to ONLY use the number boxes instead of the slider to change the color values using the virtual Steam keyboard, then press the Enter button. However, you can only do this once before it locks you out and I wouldn't touch the slider at all or it breaks. You have to completely back out of the advanced controller settings, then go back in to do the same thing for the brightness and then yet again for the saturation. It's very janky and inconvenient, but it probably has to do with the new slider UI or the way the settings apply to the controller inside the "Steam\steamapps\common\Steam Controller Configs\preferences_[ControllerMacID]" file (you can edit the controller config inside here too). It's weird that this works once, but locks up, so it should be able to be fixed since it did work before somehow. People report you can turn off your controller and turn it back on to fix it too, but that didn't work on my dualshock. I've also noticed another slider broken for the Steam music player inside the big picture mode. You cannot select the time slider with a controller and it must be dragged with a mouse input/touchscreen. Think it's some UI code related to how the LED settings apply with the sliders because it works fine when you change the LEDs inside of steam input's action sets or inputs.

Wow your guide actually worked, it´s weird that it has to be this way but it worked, thanks

Well... shortly after discussing this it appears that they finally fixed this issue in the Steam Client Beta update for December 4th. If you opt in there for now, then this method is no longer needed I believe since it works for me now. However, the music player's slider is still broke when using a gamepad I've noticed.
