StarCraft II continues the epic saga of the

Protoss, Terran, and Zerg. These three distinct and powerful races will clash once again in the fast-paced real-time strategy sequel to the legendary original, StarCraft. Dustin Browder, StarCraft II's lead designer, wants to go home. He's a tired bunny. He's been working on a game that's been in development since 2003 and finally, thankfully, the end is in sight: StarCraft II is gearing to launch in the first half of this year.

At least Dustin hopes so. The developer was kind enough to break off a Hard difficulty play-through last night to give us 20 minutes of his time on the phone, and talked about the monster RTS's ongoing beta, what's going on with Battle.net 2.0, StarCraft II's day one patch and tons more.
