You need to rejoin the server and type !menu and follow the instructions to set up your donator.

They aren't banning people for it but as it is an exploit the people who did it may have consequences. That's all I have read about it.

They're not banning people for it, and if they were going to it wouldn't be a VAC.

Trade bans are for scamming, not VACs. VAC is for cheating in VAC enabled games.
