I have a feeling these games are not going to be validated... but I can't remove my team from the league either. Any suggestions on how I can do this or is the team just gone?

Hey guys. It seems that SWC will be off for a while as the admins will take a break. If you liked it I want to invite you to join the steam group Blitz Ultra Cup and also enter the cup inside Blood Bowl. The rules will be pretty much the same to achieve a fast paced tournament but with a bit more matches to have our teams develop some more. With the hope of returning to our beloved SWC soon, I salute you!

What a glorious day was last night! At first Amazing Dancers (WoE) won their fourth trophy and third Skavenblight Elite Division and a little after that the Sentinels of Success (Dwa) won the Skavenblight Warpstone Cup!!
Plans for the next season are that the Dancers will keep winning and sadly dying in the SED while in the SWC I think I ll try to give Skaven another chance after the not so successful SWC II.

Dwarves vs Khemri! The final match of the SWC IV is set and the agony rises. A bashy final where death lurks in every corner of the stadium. Let's see if I will be able to defend the title or Red Baron will take his first one!

Sorry all I had a few personal things going on so my BB time was null... didn't mean to miss the last game. Feeling much better now so I'll be able to play the elite match tomorrow if AoJ has time.

My Gold Boys were gold until first game in the playoffs I was stopped cold by the Red Baron again. Its been fun and I did far better than I thought I would with a dodgy team, thanks for the games everyone.

Well I did'nt make it into the play offs but I had a nice time anyway!
And I got my player first in a few Hall of fame categories so im happy.

The hold up is du to the matches between Trs v Squiggy and Tbarb v Happyturtle. I am currently awaiting Trs to answe me regarding our elite game so it seems he's disappeared. The same goes for Turtle who seems to be AWOL. We will admin the games later today unless anything unexpected occurs.

1st tie breaker: Best TD average (offensive TDs-defensive TDs)
2nd:Results between the teams that are in tie
3rd: Best offence
4th: Higher TV
5th: The ranking as it is by Cyanide

I could neither play Tuesday nor Wednesday and I knew it that I couldn't when we agreed to reschedule so I m pretty sure I told you about Thursday. There is a chance though that you indeed were talking about tommorow and me about Thursday and between our many chat messages we didn't realise that we were talking about a different day.

Well, what's done is done. Neither of us did it on purpose, that's for sure. Now I could play tonight as I said (22:00-02:00 GMT) or another day and time that fits you better.

Today is wednesday, not tuesday :) we said tomorrow at the same time, didnt mention a day by name.

For the record the first game's disconnection is probably nor mine neither Gog's fault, at least from what Cyanide's box sais.

What do we do if oppo doesnt turn up for a match? In the first attempt at playing Antonis dc'd, with him about to score but me with a huge advantage in players out, and the rearranged time he was a no-show. not sure what the protocol is for that, tried sending a friend request but no response.

Anybody else from earlier seasons of Warpstone Cup who wants to join elite, last day will be thursday so we can get the season started.

With the current format not many teams will even gain a skill, let alone pass 1300 TV.

Oh I see. But why putting 1300 TV as a top? Since a team has survived SWC should have a free pass in my opinion. Of course without having played in any other league exept of those here.

Nathan It is but after a season or two these gaps will have been severely reduced. Also I cannot think of any other way of doing this. This is a problem often found in much bigger leagues also.

I didn´t make sense in my last post. What I had in mind was something like this.

Warpstone Cup stays as it is - Fresh teams, if we have more players we can go 2 teams/race.

Elite is split in to two divisions but keeps running season after season with the same teams, if you want to change you can bring in another Skavenblight team with a max 1300TV. Does that make more sense?

And also Antonis I really like your idea of a training league with no schedule

However you want to set it up is fine with me. I usually only see if teams are around the same TV in a division. 1300 vs 2000 TV would be kinda lame.

I agree with your suggestions about Elite mate i have just a few things to add if you don't mind.

This season's Elite will be one single division and we' ll have the 2nd division from next season based on this season's results. For example first 4 go on 1st and last 4 on 2nd division, or first 6 go on 1st and last 2 join the newcomers (if any) to form 2nd division.

Now in SWC i believe that if some teams have more than 1000TV it will be a big advantage for them. I would prefer vanilla only teams. But I can see your way of thinking of giving some teams the opportunity to play 2 seasons before getting to SED or just to use their teams again. I would suggest a new league to be created only for training purposes where players that competed in SWC will be able to arrange matches between them to train furthermore their teams before joining SED. There we could put all the teams that now have fallen in decline having competed only in previous SWC and play some friendly matches also.

We are now having a good amount of players in the Skavenblight so I think it´s time to launch the next stage.
The next stage will be a developement of Elite, I want to replace it with a league with 2 divisions. Last team(s) in the highest division will be relegated and the winner(s) of the lower division will be moved up between seasons.
Warpstone Cup will still be the way in and players can use teams from any Skavenblight Cup with a max Tv1300.
What do you think people? Does it sound like something worth trying?

Even though the elite league says its full, they are trying to replace one guy who is inactive.

TS of course we want your team! The more the better! As i see it so far, there are two tournaments here;

The Skavenblight Warpstone Cup. Where everyone can show what he can do with a 1000TV team but also can show the rest if he is a reliable player to promote to the Elite division. Also SWC is a good way to earn some skills before going deep in the more hardcore Elite division.

And the Skavenblight Elite division. Where everyone's goal must be. To take the Elite trophy after surviving tha hardships of SWC. Of course teams that are not here from the start may have some difficulties entering a division with much more experienced teams but there is the idea that in the future (with more teams) a division 2 may be created so the new teams will find it easier to adapt.

So you and the other players that have so far played one season in SWC are most welcome to join as fast as you can so we can start Season III !

I just saw the TV of everyone else in Elite... may not want my Norse in there I will have some serrious inducements. This is what I get for not naming my players. If you don't need my team not a big deal.
