Winter 2017 event is officially over

Our events officially end when our consolation round is over (if there is one). For this event, we consoled three of our members considered as the unluckiest of us and those were:

Nudi - Finding Paradise 9,99€ on Steam (entered for it, also in his wishlist)
Skull18 - Cat Quest 7,79€ on HB (entered for it, also in his wishlist)
gizzy - SMASHING THE BATTLE 3,59€ on Steam (from his wishlist)

If everything is well, we should be seeing each other again for another round in the Summer.

Consolation round

We usually have some members in each event that can be considered as unlucky, so there is a tradition to console them (those of us feeling we won more mostly). You can state your interest in contributing on the consolation round here

Only 9 hours left to take advantage of the Steam Sales. Creators of your wins may be looking for you to send you the gift or it's value so make sure you contact them and check your messages.

Stats will be created when all giveaways have been marked as received (or we know their winners) so don't leave just yet ;)

There will also be a topic where you can share your experience on the event which I'd love to hear.

Hey there fellow sims, the event seems to have run smoothly so far just a day before all our giveaways simultaneously end. In case you haven't noticed, we have our event end sooner to give us the chance to buy the games for our winners before sales end.

Make sure you already have everyone in the group as friend , so that they can buy gifts for you directly and you can buy them gifts in case your paths cross.

I will be waiting to see all of you on chat around the time when giveaways end to share the anxiety and awe of our wins. Thank you all for helping carry out another event, even if it is a "mini" one.

Better start entering giveaways!

Well the new SG point system might cause you trouble entering for giveaways you want so the sooner you start, the more of them you'll get to enter, the less low-entry giveaways we'll have.

The same logic applies to your created giveaways. The later you create them, the less entries you'll probably get so I suggest you created them as soon as you reserve them.

And last but not least, Nudiustertian is running a "wishlist" giveaway thingy of his, so heads-up

Are you excited? The first reservation phase is almost over, prepare your engines for the second one! I hope you ve already created your lists, otherwise you only have one hour left before we all are allowed to reserve our lists.

Hey there SimGivers,
I can see most of you have already visited our site (probably to prepare your reservations) but I strongly suggest to everyone to read the site FAQ[simgive.com] as well. The rest that haven't visited the site it means that you certainly are not prepared for the reservation phase which is not bad for the rest of us, higher chances for us to reserve the games we want :P

Event dates are up and you can check them either on Steam Group's Calendar here, or in our site's[simgive.com] top bar of course. You can already start creating your list of games you wish to reserve.

Make sure you update your script for creating giveaways with the one linked on the site[github.com].

Chat and Discord

We won't have Daerphen's chat bot this time, but Timmy has created an alternative on for Discord, which you can check here[discord.gg]. For those unfamiliar with it, there are some channel "tags" on the left, including one for real time reservations. Since it also shows you messages sent when you were "offline" we may consider moving our chat parties there :P
