Results of June 2nd tourney played on Mass holes 2-11-16-17-18 with difficult holes, no gimmies, greens set slower by 1 and fairways softer by 1. The first hole set the tone for a couple of golfers... but they did have "clean" balls.

I think I finished with a -1. Not that it really matters.....the tournaments provide good fellowship and laughter.

Results for May 27th. First some dummy set the wrong course. We played Florida instead of Pines. Second the game completely locked up one hole short of completion. What it is, is what it was :) Eight players.. good showing.

Gonna have to take some time off from this game as it is unplayable for my linux system until the next update fixes this. Then, it may be even worse as my integrated graphic card could be insufficient for handling the improved graphics that come with that update. Until that washes out, I will be playing the OGC golf game. I will continue to set up the weekly tournaments here. Remember, this is something that all members are empowered to do.

Guess I'll have to pass on screenshot suggestion as Macs don't seem to be able to take screenshots. The F12 on Macs are dedicated to internal Mac commands. Maybe TexasAces, or others, can run and participate in those tournaments. Good luck and godspeed. I'll be interested in seeing results.

Super idea, grump of the grumpsters. Maybe we could have a open tourney that goes like maybe a week or so fashioned along your screenshot approach. Everyone plays at their leisure.

In mny defense I was -5 at one point before hitting 3 balls in the water on the second time around on the playoff hole and then again on the fourth playoff hole ...in an effort to get the ball close on a difficult pin position ... lol

I have noticed that during the last two tournies,the gimmes were on.Seeing as it's a competition,may I suggest that they are turned off (as an excited player can miss a short putt) :)
