Here's my accurate paraphrasing of the article:
"Im Rocket, I think I like to develope games, but I realized that I suck at it and Bohemia doesn't like me becuase im bratty, so I'm going to leave them and make my own dev company in New Zealand by the end of 2014."

What does this entail for the future of DayZ? Well he's still going to be lingering around on the project for a while, but hopefully we can have mod support added and then just have the community take over the project like with the original mod.

DayZ Standalone and DayZ Origins

Apparently the DayZ Standalone Alpha is supposed to release by the end of this month (June) or sometime soon. The Alpha is going to have a similar price point to Minecraft, where you guy into alpha at a cheaper price than Beta or Full Release. I'm iffy on playing the alpha since I'm tired of playing buggy messes and then getting tired of the game by full release; but will definetly pick it up to save a few bucks at least.

On to my next point. There are around 6 of us playing on a DayZ mod called "DayZ Origins". The main features here is that it's on Taviana and you can BUILD houses and bases and customize certain vehicles. The next update will add a giant Fort/Castle you can construct along with a clan system. If anyone is interested just send Damien, Doug, or Dave (Triple DDD...okay sorry) a message and we can help you get set up. The mod is pretty fun and definetly feeds the itch/nostalgia of playing DayZ again.

I don't know if anyone actually reads these but it would be nice to see some of the old DayZ players back again (where'd the Canadians go?) or know who would be on the roster for the standalone. Leave a comment or hop in the teamspeak (we are pretty much on everyday around 6PM EST). Thank you for your time. =)

Possible WarZ Crash Fix

Apparently theres a fix that can help reduce the amount of crashes while in-game. This will not fix the "There is no zombie hero 0" and alt-tabbing crashes but I've noticed a considerably less amount of random crashes in-game.

To try this fix you need to run the WarZ Client in Capatability mode for "Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)".

The official facebook page for WarZ has posted a download link to the client. Although this is not on the website yet I have started downloading the game and have already created my account using my serial key. Im a little leary of it not being on the official website yet but have proceeded anways.
