Recording Update

I'm sure all of you have noticed a lack of activity on my part these last couple weeks. I've been swamped with work, between an unusual increase in the amount of work, and a high turnover rate of employees. I'm going to try and set aside time this weekend to record the next video, or two. Thank you all for your patience, and your unending support. Without you, nothing would be possible.

The challenge to be recorded next has been decided!

The RC challenge:
Build a race car with the mod called “the modpack” by Durf. And use the wireless controller to make your RC. Here’s the link https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=881254777&searchtext=
Rules:
Electric motors will only be allowed to power the RC and only at vanilla speeds. Motor mods are allowed for space saving only. Also, no thrusters or glitches of any kind.

Dimensions:
1. The RC frame
Max of 5 blocks in width, 4 blocks in height and 7 blocks in length.

2. Wheels
Wheels are not counted as the RC frame, but each wheel cannot be bigger than 3 blocks in hight, nor wider than 2 blocks. Suspension will count in the size of the RC frame, so keep that in mind.

Note:
Suspension may help but won’t be necessary as the race will take place on concrete.

Thank you and happy building!
The video has arrived!

That's right! The video has officially arrived. I was finally able to finish it with the help of Scald, and I got it edited earlier today. Sadly, I wasn't able to add the poll just yet, but I will as soon as I can.

https://youtu.be/-twhmDG7ZOY

Don't forget to join me for the premiere!

Slight delay

First off, we would like to thank everyone for the awesome float submissions!

The recording process for Sir Wulfe’s YouTube channel has been delayed because of a conflicting work schedule. But fear not, your creations have not been forgotten and half of them are recorded. Look for the next update when the video is posted and share it with your friends so they can see your creativity.

Sir Wulfe’s YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/blackwulfegaming

Idea for the next group build

I've given some thought to the next group build. A walker competition. Everyond builds a walker, and works through several challenges, such as speed, climbing, obstical avoidance.... These are preliminary ideas, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter. Let me know below!

To be clear, the ideas above are only examples. If you have ideas for challenges to overcome, I want to hear them too.

Volunteers wanted

To "sell" the parade feeling, I'd like to build a mini street. It doesn't need to be huge. Enough to sell the feeling of being on, say, West 34th Street. Now, this isn't mandatory, I'll be building this as and when I can, but if you happen to have time, a few building facades, a street, lamp posts, whatever you feel like contributing, would be nice. I thought it would be cool to have that Macy's Day Parade feel.

What are your thoughts on the street idea?

Build details (updated)

Here they are, the details of the build you have so long waited for.

The Build Project is.... Parade Floats!

I know, it doesn't seem that exciting, but I think we can really let our creative flags fly here.

The Rules are simple:

Rule #1: Nothing violent, obscene, racist, etc. I run a family friendly YouTube channel. Pretend your great grand mother would want to see it,

Rule #2: Floats must be a minimum of 16 blocks wide, by 64 blocks long.

Rule #3: Please try to have your floats submitted by Thursday, January the 23rd. Sorry for the short time frame, but I'd like to get the video shot, and edited, for that following weekend, February 1st. I can add a day or two if necessary, but I would like to get the video done, as I said.

When submitting, leave this format in the description, along with the link to the group. Leave the link to the build on the workshop, in the discord, or under Discussions, in "Gimme dem submissions." The link is http://steamcommunity.com/groups/ScrapProjects

Name: Steam, Reddit, or whatever you would like credit as goes here

Float name: What's the name?

Float description: This is what I will read from, when displaying your float

Float back story: Quick blurb on why you picked this theme (optional)

Float abilities: What can your float do? Do the doors open, the sword swing, the airplane take off?

Float mods: This is so I can have everyone's mods downloaded when we do the display, or they WILL NOT work in that world!

If you have any questions, or if I've left anything out, let me know.

Happy building! I can't wait to see everyone's designs!
