Ok,here is the stuff=)

1. Lost Castle -

Really nice beat-em-up game with rogue-like elements ( randomly generated levels , permadeath and etc ) inspired by Dark Souls and Castle Crashers.

This game is punishing,even in the beginning!

2. King's Field -

First game from From Software ( Dark Souls's Developer ).
Really hard and punishing dungeon-crawler.

One more thing

In US the first game isn't the first game,it's second.

You need to either upload original JP release with fan translation or play remake=)

3. Bit Dungeon+ -

Really epic light rogue-like game with a good difficulty

I recommend to play on HELL difficulty for maximum fun
