I just found this group. I think what you guys are doing is pretty cool and I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out!
1) Are you associated/affiliated with the original developer (Futuremark) in any way?
2) Do you have the rights to use the name Shattered Horizon ?
I think it will be more of a spiritual successor than a sequel. Good luck anyways!
This channel has many things, so just search for their UDK and Unreal Editor stuff. Very helpful: https://www.youtube.com/user/theguildhallatsmu/videos?query=udk

I ask because I dont have the original files to do it myself. THe reason for doing this is to make the website load up much faster.
Also sorry this is not for everyone, but we will have situation report for everyone at least once per week on our www.spacelegends.net news section.
We have another TSC member in our ranks, Welcome Skedar
Possibilities would be
Stage 1: Get the yaw pitch and elevation working. In otherwords getting something to move around all the 3 main axis upon a button press
There are tons of tuts on gametypes, custom weapons, sounds, but nothing on 6DOF controls tut wise...
In relation to Dex. It is quite hard to pick up the code from a small application that someone else has made and decipher what is being done with it. In most instances it is easier and better for the development of the new game to start from scratch and just refer to parts of the concepts and/or code for ideas of how to procede.
If you want to help, please do, but don't be a buzzkill.
I might be able to help with a little unreal script but that all depends on my avaliable time over the next few months
