I am looking into setting up a dedicated server without a dev tool specific to SF:TX. A little tricky but looks do-able and should help even the score lag-wise if I can make it happen.

seems like a good idea! If anyone wants to join in this PLEASE write something in my chat. I will write down all the names and then form a group. If some people don't get picked i will make sure you are in next time. Only problem is that which ever area the server is placed in. the closest people will have the advantage :/ stupid lag. Also we gota make a time and day.
ALSO i got a spare copy of "Bunch of heroes" a pretty sh*t game to give away. But oh well, better than nothing :D

After a few events, I would like to schedule a match between our groups DrWills. Anybody in both groups we'll either ask their preference or switch as needed to get groups as close as possible.

We can draw names out of hats so there's no stacking, get teams of 7 and assign servers of teams of 7+1. Each match is most wins in 1 hr takes that round. Right now we have enough players for almost 4 rounds.

You and I will be in each match as a judge as the +1 (and we can play too, ahh the burden of responsibility).

I will make a copy of "The Election Machine 2012" as a prize to the winning group and the admin of that group can decide top player for prize (you and I can't win) and I will gift it ot them.

Let's hammer out some details and do this sh*t

I believe it is capture point. You fight for set zones on the map which increase your score while you have them. CTF and Hot zone are good to. haha not a huge fan of TDM but will play anything so is it 730 now

How is Wednesday's (27th) game looking? hopefully we get some more locals joining in around here and spreading the word about this game. Playing with 400 ping on the US servers this game is still fun but yeah them shoot outs would be a lot fairer with a decent ping...

alright i have added the events for next month and the rest of this month. Thinking about adding some tournaments. eg. Best Team, Most Kills, Best KDR. Maybe even steam games as a prize. small ones of cause :P im not full of cash. If anyone has suggestion post them on this. Seeya

nah i cant add events, just go into the events page next to discussions and add them on the calendar, for the next few months and all members of the group should ge the PM's on the day

I think you do Sat and Sunday and one during the week like a wednesday or something, kick the game off around 0630pm or so and do group invites, you can meke the days change up like TDM, CP, HZ ect

I work shift work so im all over the place, but the guys who play red orch 2 have a set three events a week that always prompt the community of games, it is very affective at gettin numbers to a server.

We definatly should. I get back from school after 1-2 (Australian time) and im free after that everyday. I relaise we do have some International people that can cause problems. but we will have to work out a way we can all play. Is everyone fine 3pm - 9pm Australian time. You can jump out an in whenever you want. just gota work out a day we can do it.
