It saddens me to see all our progress over the past few days dissapear because anouther player has said the map is already being worked on. I feel that comuninication is lacking in the Unturned Community and this is why not many CU's (community updates) are being produced, because of the reason above.

With all my heart I regret to imform you all that unless MP Editor is realised I will not be going ahead with the project, I apoligise for all the time I have wasted for you guys and all the great things such as Trello etc that have been produced along the way. I have my mistakes and im not much of a Leader, im a Rolemodel that people look up too, I don't have experance there for I shouldn't be leading a team like this. You are all great people and you should go tell yourself that, you have a load of potenchal in your hands and you should make something out of it, make yourself a great person. I have also got holidays coming up which might sound to you as I have heaps of time, I don't, I work two jobs and im still at school.

I will be leaving the group, discord and hopfully getting Don't know to leave the Trello open in case MP Editor is added soon. I wish you all the very best and again, sorry for wasting all your guys time and effort to make this a thing. I hope to see you all back again when MP Editor is added.

Hey Guys

Today we have made a heck load of progress as usual! Almost too much I couldn't keep up! I would love to thank the all the team for coming up for concept art, and the Trello, on the note of Trello I would love to keep all the ideas there for safe keeping in the Trello please and thanks. Thank you also for supplying all the ideas of which hopefully we can get a lot of the ideas done and much, much more to impress Nelson and help him as he doesn't have to do as much.


A number of people have messaged me on reddit and on steam saying that my team size was too big, I do not belive in this as having more people will be better and it's a "community" update for a reason so there for the community should be involved, that is the main reason I have left the Discord open to the public.


I feel once MP editor comes out our team can work together and make a Offical Map in no time, we have heaps of time to make models etc so map editors might slightly unneeded for a while because MP editor hasn't been realised yet, if you guys can try learn so basic Blender skills it would be great. On the note of map editing tommorow we will be holding a vote who is going to do the terrain at the start the map.

Sorry to all those whose timezone forbidded them from being in the Discord at the time we discussed the map location idea with Games2much. We discussed how Germanys biomes and moutainnes location make it a great place to set a large map on, with its one of a kind buildings and massive castles dominate the landscape. There is a load of possibilities for the map and even a special type of spec ops clothing for the map, coming from Germanys Gsg9 Divisions. I do hope the map idea gets discussed a lot more in-depth with all the map editors. But now on to the pracise tasks to get everyone prepared for the map.


As you probaly saw the last annoucement was delited due to Games2much saying that Nelson makes the weapons, so I have droped the idea untill he needs us to do it. Anyways to get to the point below is the listed "jobs" for each of the given teams to do (Blender, Editor, Unity).

Blender

Each one of the Blender Team will be given a building for them to try to re-create in Blender with Unturned's low poly art style. I will be messaging each one via Discord due to steam deliting links, so please check your messages there. Most of these will be used in the real map so please try do your best, not all of the building needs to be accessable. The map editors will thank you for doing as it saves a lot of work!!!

Editor

Each one of the Editor Team will be given Berlin as a location, please only use the editor roads but if you know how to add your own kind of roads. Just the layout will do for Berlin and the best wins the right to edit Berlin and the surrounding area in the real map.

Unity

The Unity Team will import the models after the Blender team has finished them. Please if you do not know how to do this ask one of the other people to give you a tips on how to! This will be highly needed later in map editing stage of the map, and the map editors will be greatly appricitive of this!


We know this is going to be a long process but it has been greatly speed up by Spyjack seeing the Reddit post, and in turn making Games2much turn up to our discord, Im greatly apprective of him giving us tips and such.

Side note

Please keep all Discord chats clean, we know its always a bit of fun but we don't want Nelson reading proficy and such when he comes to realise our map and he thinks twice about it. Thanks!

I have come into contact with Gamez2much so now we are offically somewhat known and have a stepping stone on which we can run the basis of our operation on. I have also sent a email to Nelson to notify him of the existance of this team.

On the map side of things we are currently having a lot of absoltly great ideas flowing though Discord and the Steam Group, I have to say the progress made today has been worth while! The following points are where some of our map ideas are taking place.
