Alse, I installed the demo and was not very impressed.
I am back from a work trip so let us look at having a race sometime this weekend.
Any takers?
I am glad to hear that you are a 'safe' driver, though, your skill level is scary.
Myself and Damaus recently moved from Xbox (forza) where we both had steeringwheels and a fantastic local comunity. The comunity eventually grew to a dogaming racing league.
Bl1ks3m used to race forza with us, but now pretends he used to always race on pc.
At the moment I have a driving force gt wheel, which is fantastic, and the entire Race07 collection. I think we'll be racing that untill either Assetto or Project CARS launches.
We prefer propper racing, even with pit stops and rain and the like. I will gladly host as many races as possible, on any track, with any car, made outside the borders of the USA ;)
We do have the odd just for fun race, but mostly we pride ourselves in decent overtaking, smart racing and above all, out-racing the foe.
...
Get as many people who race into this group, we have a coplete newby starting end of this month, newby as in he hasn't even raced Forza, never mind Mario Cart.
I think with a group of about 20, we should have eneough of a pool for 10 player races, then hopefully we can grow from there. I think Assetto will bring many players.
Local is lekker.
Ps.
Teamspeak is very helpfull, making the setup of races just that much easier.
Also, for those with just the vanilla Race07 ro RaceOn bundle, just let me know, and I will host vanilla races.
Thanks for the invite, I must firstly admit that I haven't raced in a while.
I currently don't have GTR2 nor Race 07 installed, I think I lost my copy of GTR2, but that's another story, I have all DLC's for Race 07, and preciously raced in leagues.
My skill level is slightly above average for a sim racer, and my motto is normally safety first, and finish the races. Far too often I've seen people end their races on the first corner.
