Hello everybody,

Over the past month we have been getting ddos attacks a lot. Whenever we get some pop on the server, we just get ddosed. So due to this I will be closing down the server today.

I just wanted to say thanks everybody for all the support for the server and all the good times we all had in it :) It lasted a good 8-9 months, and one of the best servers i'd say in rust. I appreciate all the help ive gotten with my server, all the playerbase as well.

Thank you to all my admins that helped me out. Without you server wouldn't have been as great as it was 100% Chedder, phase, binks, ex0z, vendetta, kaj, guilt, vindicated, Rose, vord, memes, elmo, phrozenice, funnycheeseman, havoc209, slurp.

Hello Ladies and Gents,

The server is back up after the big DDOS attack. Gameservers un-suspended the server for the time being. We are currently looking for a new host, because well fuck Gameservers.

We are currently trying to get a dedicated server which means the server would be lag free, more playable & enjoyable for everybody. I'll keep everybody posted on what is going to happen in the next few days hopefully. But for the time being we have the server back :)

Do not fret RNP fans! We are currently working on bringing RNP back online soon. I will post an ETA when I have more information. If everything goes through ok all of you guys will be excited for the new server. Details to come soon.

RustNpeace DDOS Attack

Hello Everybody,

Today we suffered a Major DDOS attack on the server. Apparantly it was so severe that Gameservers has decided to suspend my Server for 24-48 hours, and if it continues they will stop my service and terminate the server. I'll show you guy's the message i received from gameservers.

Hello,

Unfortunately, your server has been the target of a severe DDoS attack. Due to the nature of this attack, we have been unable to filter it, and in order to protect the stability of our network, we have had to temporarily suspend this subscription.

Should your server continue to be targeted with such attacks, we may be forced to stop providing this service to you.

We apologize for having to take this measure, but the attack is affecting other customers on our network. These types of suspensions will normally remain in place for 24-48 hours. We will provide you with another update here once the suspension is removed.

I don't recommend getting gameservers, these are the types of idiots you will deal with. I've had my Server with them since the server started and this is how they respond. So I'll be in touch with them and see what can be done. If not I'll try to find a new host for the server. I'll do more announcements when i get more news from Gameservers, sorry.
