for some of you our server may be shown grey in the dayzcommander, and you can't join it right now. Since the dazycommander installs the false beta patch if you want to download 97240, you have to download the newest patch (97361) manually from http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php. after you have downloaded it, go to your arma 2 OA arrowhead folder --> expansions and delete the "beta" folder. afterwards just doubleclick the .exe from the downloaded file an install it.
That's it. You are good to go!

Dear members of DE57,
We just want to inform you that our current server will be replaced by another one with a private hive in a few days. As we were encountering more and more hackers in the last weeks who severely made the game unenjoyable on our server for most of us because most times we couldn't do anything against them without the possibility of violating the rules made by the DayZ developers, we thought of a solution for this issue. By switching to a server with a private hive, we can easily fight hackers and other exploiting people like server hoppers and ghosters (which simply can't do these kind of things anymore) - not only if we can see them by ourselves, so we can react if some other user of our server reports somebody without having any evidence. Then, hackers can be banned just because of eye-witnesses. At this moment, we actually could ban somebody only if we have evidence in form of videos, screenshots and/or log files. Most times, we don't have one of those. This problem will be solved.
In short, these are the advantages compared to our old server:
- Every duped tents and items will be removed
- Everybody has to start from scratch again
- There will not be any server hopper or ghoster anymore
- Many bugs which are in the official server's code won't affect us (for example, the bugged vehicle and tent saving has been fixed weeks ago on private hives)
- Less Hackers (or to be precise we can fight them better and don't have to be everywhere on the map in the same time to record these people)
- We can define better rules than the official ones
- And much more

We hope that most of you will join us on our new server as we think that it will bring back the fun of DayZ of a few weeks ago. More information (like how to join - you will just need the DayZ Commander - or which hostname or IP the server will have) will be posted here soon.

We have now updated the server to the newest patch 1.7.2.5 and we are happy to confirm, that this updated brings some nice improvements with it. The "Battleeye: Client not responding" bug and some of the graphic bugs (not all) have been fixed. We are also experiencing a better server performance right now! You will now have to update your game to 1.7.2.5, to play on our server again. Just visit http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/67383-hotfix-build-1725-rolling-update/ update manualy, as SixUpdater only hosts the update once rocket and his team have confirmed, that they are satisfied with the update.

Ok,
as some of you may already have noticed, we have updated the server to the newest version 1.7.2.4. This brings a lot of new features like better server performances, but also some new bugs like the graphic or the "Battleye: Client not responding" bug. The server restarts are now implemented again which will be at 9:00am, 3:00pm and 11:00pm (UTC+2). We are now looking forward to patch 1.7.2.5 and really hope, that the bugs will be fixed. Of course you will be noticed, when we uploaded this new patch!
