Hi i kinda played the game back 2013, not much as i would like, this notice makes me a bit confuse, RH will back to steam? Or the game will be out forever?

Excuse my very, very late reply but I never got a notification and I just now checked the group out again after I saw they went public.
I might've been a bit crass but point still stands that signing up for the forum is needlessly tedious. Also not everyone uses discord contrary to popular belief and the FAQ on the website is rather lacking.
But either way, I'm just some guy who want(ed) to give them my money with no decent way to do so. No biggie.

@Poroner I'm sorry to hear about your frustrating experience trying using the forums. There are legal and logistic barriers that do not allow PayPal and other common money transfer platforms to be used at this time.

Additionally, there is no focus on PVP over PVE as both are priority and needed for the project's release. The game's design favors a more efficient work by starting on the PVP system, making sure characters are fully functional, before even going to PVE which requires AI, party and dungeon development and many other variables that are probably unknown to your knowledge.

Did you try reaching out to their discord channel? I highly recommend that, instead of wasting your time embarrassing yourself with rhetorical questions. It has many useful sources of information and people that will assist you with these issues.

Barely any updates, could never sign up to the forums. First it didn't accept my security question and now that I try a year later I am not getting the confirmation email.
Payment methods for donors are dumb. You are supposed to be developing a game and you can't even use paypal? Also the focus on pvp over pve is a huge red flag.
Never going to be finished anyway.

So no, it's not discontinued.

The server is still not complete and is in development, but people have been playing on it on the partially completed things like pvp for over a year. The project is still going strong!

I've been playing RH since 2012. Actually, me and my girlfriend and love, played it together as a couple. We were very sad when the servers closed back in September 2014 and now , finding this site has lifted our hearts.

It's just that even if we want to play, how can we create an account and download the game ? I've clicked here and there on your website ( https://www.rustyrevolution.org ) but found no paths or only "restricted access".

Please write me back as soon as possible. (officially or anyone that's willing to and can help)

I'm also studying how to design games and content on my own, so if you'd need my help in creating assets , quest stories, level design and basic animations, please let me know how can I help. (I'm versatile in CryEngine and learning Unity and Unreal Engine now, creating assets in 3ds Max and Zbrush)

So, what happened?, is this project on the road yet?

Microsoft / gmail had our server host on a spammer list so emails weren't getting delivered. We got our server removed from the blacklist so try requesting the confirmation again if you didn't recieve it.

Oh hey, this group exists, good. I've been trying to use the contact form in the website, but I've been getting "critical errors" all the time.

I had created an account, didn't receive a confirmation email, and now I can't recover my password to check on the account... I'm not sure what to do here.

@Yandere: It truly was a badass Hack n' Slash MMORPG, it really was. Really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up they abandoned it like that though, i'm willing to keep my RH that is still installed safely on my Steam just in case it ever returns. THAT'S how much I love RH and just how badass it was, really. ^^

@Illya - Check your spam folder, our emails almost always end up there due to our server host's location.

We tend to only give updates on front-end public things. We've been working on server code and client research which makes for boring update posts that most people don't bother read.

I've seen this game on youtube and was disappointed to see it was gone (I've never got to play). But to see and know its returning; I have never felt so excited. Please keep us up to date on whats going ♥

We haven`t heard anything about the project since October, how is the work going? I think you should update more frequently the status of your work because many people are looking forward to it and there isn't much information about it. Also we can't create an account in your website.

I want to play it so hard but it seems they don't accept new members since October. I tried to make an account but the email verification never arrives.

Oh thank goodness... You have NO idea how happy that makes a eternally-loyal RH fan such as myself, really...! <3 Any word for RH being repaired for those that still have the Steam version of RH? I still haven't uninstalled my RH since I still held onto the hope that RH would one day be resurrected, or will the Steam version of RH not be supported? I hope it will since it would mean less hassle for RH-Lovers like me that still have RH still installed on their Steam after all. heh heh :D

It's alive and well. We just updated our client to remove GameGaurd Security and add windows 10 support. The Website is currently innaccessable because our domain is down - it will be fixed very soon.

Please tell me this project is still alive, I do not wish to see RH die after all, please say it isn't dead... :'(
