As most of the members know, while attending school full time, being a rocking interweb clan leader and courting grossly unattractive women, I’ve been working on starting up my own company on the side. Just as I succeed at everything else in my life, I am succeeding at this!

But no, on a more serious note. I’ve been working on some stuff for the past year or so, and I’m starting to gain a lot of traction with it. I plan to take some time off of school once this semester is over and focus on my work full time. As it is now I want to be able to work about 80 - 90 hours a week on my work, but for the next semester I also need to attend school full time. I'm sure you guys can understand why my time is limited as a result. As much as I love [-Q-], I know It won’t be possible for me to invest the necessary time to run it well given my new commitments, and I don’t want to half-ass running this community (read: I don’t want to “BR” it, as they say).

I know I have to stop running [-Q-]. Investing a few hours a day and constantly concerning myself with server pops, interweb drama, etc, is no longer a possibility. So there’s only two possible options:

1) Bask in the glory that has been [-Q-] for nearly 4 years, and shut it down on a high note. Move on in my life, earn a ton of money, and eventually buy a house that Mythos and I can grow old in together (Art Brut and Wylde can come too).

2) Hand the clan over to Mythos, and watch it fail. In six months it’ll have four members and be a minesweeper/solitaire clan, exclusively. You'll need a bachelors in Psychology (masters preferred) to be admitted, and no blacks will be allowed. That would disgust me... (other than the last point).

As much as two would satisfy a lot of people for the short term, I know that either [-Q-] would die off or I would get dragged back into it. I’ve decided I don’t want to Brett Favre it, so 1 is the only real option for me.

I’m trying to be humorous about this entire thing because I’m dying inside. DYING! I love the people in [-Q-], and the community itself. Though I’m a complete asshole on the forums, people like Persian and Bafarid light up my life.

I want to keep this rather brief, so I want bother making some long, sappy, pointless post.

New custom maps!

[-Q-] Qosis has asked me to put up an announcement for this group as follows:

Six new maps have been added on the [-Q-] custom map server, along with the removal of Warpath and Lazytown.

Qosis has asked that people provide some feedback on the maps so we can figure out which maps are going to stay and which are going to go. If you want to provide feedback on any of the new maps please visit the following link:

I think the best way to get this group to grow and really get everyone is if you invite all of the people on your friends list that you know are regulars. I've gotten everyone on my friend list that I know plays on the server often so just pass it on.
