The story starts out after WWII, Germany developed nuclear weapons and nuked the United KIngdom and the United States.. The U.S responded with outrage and fired nukes off at keypoints in Europe. The map takes place in the aftermath of the war. Only a few capitals have grown strong enough to thrive. Blackbourne is one of those citys. All around Blackbourne is abandoned war bases and lost towns and citys. Many people traveled to Blackbourne for refuge, leaving most of their items and resourses behind. Outside of the city is hostile, and fiilled with bandits and worse.. The Dead. After the bombs fell almost all of the population fell. Then they rose, as nuclear fallout monsters. The walls at Blackbourne protect the people, and they often forget about the troubles outside the wall. Blackbourne does not allow guns or weapons, but their is a black market of sorts under the city. With miles and miles of tunnels it is almost impossible to find it without help.
