Server issues solved,for now.

Hello everybody,
The problem with the Server seem to be solved for the time being.

The issue was caused by a corrupted grid. So i had to Create a new World in order to fix this. I will look into the problem and mybe send the Save to keen.

I hope that got rid of the Problems we had and the Server will now run without problems.

I will not install any Mods until i know the Server is working properly.

Hello everybody.
As some might know,we had a few issues with our current server not Saving correctly.
The Cause for that seems to be special signs in the Save game. I'm not sure if that is true though,it all worked till April 2nd. But i doubt the Support would lie to me.

I am however currently setting up the Server at a new Provider ( ServerBlend )
I will create a new Map for that Server, this time with Mods, to Prevent the issue from continuing with the new Server.

The new Server should be up on Sunday. I will keep the old one Running until it Expires which is Monday evening at around 11pm.

Server Revival

Hello Everybody,

it's been quite awhile since i opened this Medieval Engineers Server, and i haven't been the most active Admin. Had various reason but those are resolved for the most part.

Over the last Month i planned to revive the Server. I'm not the best when it comes to things like that though, since i don't really know what the Players would want.

Gerti had some pretty good ideas. Events like Tournaments or Sieges, Built offs etc.

I would like to know what those of you, who still play ME would like to have on the Server, or what kind of changes you would like. I'd still prefer the Server to Stay PvE though ;)

As a last Mention, Mods are currently broken with my Provider, the world just stops loading at 99%. I'm going to contact Support about it Today.

Hello everybody,

following the wish of some players,i will add a few more Mods to the Server.
They should be available this evening after the 10pm restart. (if nothing gets in my Way that is, free time is a little limited right now ^^)

There was reportedly a hacker on the Server who could spawn blocks.
For that reason i was asked if i could make the Server whitelisted again, i Wanted to know you opinions on the Subject, and if the Hacker reappered on the Server.

Hello everybody,

The Server has been wiped and the New map is now Online. With Water!

There are some things i'd like to change,more on that in a later post.

For now have Fun with the new Map and with the Ocean!

Hello everybody,

Since update 6.4 was released,the Server seems to have some Problems.
The Performance is also not getting better, for example the Long time it takes to load the World properly so you can Play.

For these reason i decided to Wipe Server on Sunday September 16th.

The new World will use Less Mods, but i will try to use the Water Mod. That however could cause problems down the Line.

Please keep in mind,that i have to remove Ships that are too large. Small Grids have always caused problem for the Performance and i don't want to imagine how it would look if people build Huge ships...

Well that is a Problem for the Future. I will also upload the Old Server map to the Workshop, just like i did with the last one.

Hello again,

The Server is Running again for a few Hours now,and it seems to Work.
Some mods seem to cause a little trouble,but at least we keep the Save.

If any Problems do appear, please inform me via this Post!

Server Problems ( World can't be loaded)

Hello everybody,
i hate to be the bearer of bad news. However there seems to be a problem with the Server and our Save. It works fine (Well not the Performance) in Singleplayer, however the Server seems to have Problems running it.

I removed Mods that were Causing problems, The Polearm mod as well as the Chat history and Server Messages, kind of expected these to cause Problems.

However the Server keeps shutting down when i load the Save. Alos did a reinstall of the Server.

I will try to find a fix,but it is possible that we have to start a new World.

I post an Update when there is a new development.
