So it looks like the Steampipe update has completely broken this mod, anyone have a fix?

And how to get a strider?

GUYS! I STARTED P-S-M SERVER FOR 24/7. JOIN IT BY "FIND SERVER" INGAME. ALSO, DONT FORGET TO FIX GAMEINFO.TXT IN MOD. (Change SteamAppId from 320 to 215)

GaNDrengnen, because of the last HL2 update some old mods start as hl2
to fix that, go to gameinfo.txt file get to the line"SteamAppId 220" and replace 220 with 215.
PS: this work also for gmod 9, SMOD and many others.

Somebody host a listen server or create a hamachi account and host a lan server. That way people who missed it (me and others) can play.

I was thinking of an idea to get people playing more often. What do you guys think off having a match 'Every Saturday at 8pm GMT Time UK". Satuday being the day where most people would be availble and 8 pm, so most people would be able to atend without any problems. If you don't live in the UK 8PM is about 1 or 2 PM in USA. Let me know what you think of the idea.

its best if we try to attacted publicity with the moddb community, so i we can persade more people on there, then the strider mod community will grow, and maybe thequartz will continue with this project or hand it over to another group of dev's.

I agree with you Mr bubbles. The only things we would need to find a time and date that suited most people or the turn out would be very little or none at all.

ive played strider mod long ago and stopped due to believing it was dead, well it is but, i found out that the official website is down, where exactly did you get to download the actual mod? thank you, and im looking forward to keep the mod as active as possible, also would be interesting to schedule group plays so we can get a bunch of players from the community to play together

To my horror, when I felt like playing Pilotable Strider Mod yesterday, I couldn't find any servers! So... I've deceded to make one myself! Trying to keep the mod alive :)

I'm thinking of letting it run for about a week or so, to see if people are still interested. (Maybe longer if people are, which I rather hope)

Its the very first server I've ever set up, so excuse any dodgeyness that still needs fixing :P
