And in the Spirit of the New Uber update! Let's have a tournament.

As some of you know, I usually go to iD Tech camps. As some of you know, iD tech camps left. Instead, I've been hosting my own one person fake take camp, and, to uphold the tradition of a gaming tournament at iD, I'm hosting a gaming tournament! I'll put up a singular dedicated, and this announcment is the details.

This will be updated regularly, so check often.

Everything in between the lines except the date and game is up to you. VOTE

Highlander will be OFF, but class limits will apply to prevent Spy rushes.

A Demo WILL be recorded of the tournament from North's POV. When not playing, North will try to spectate the most interesting bits of the battle, unless a sniper or spy is planning an awesome ambush, in which case they will get the attention. Any additional video capture (vidcap) people who would like to help are to talk to North PRIVATELY. If you really don't want a vidcap of you pwning/failing, vote so.
EDIT: Correction. A demo will be recorded if: 1. At least 4 people vote that they want it, 2. Other people agree to provide hosting space, and 3. They are either A. Low Quality, or B. Short segments.

Reason: 10 seconds = 1 GB.

1 hour = 360 GB.

And we're playing for more than one hour.

NOTE: PROGRESS OF ANY SORT, SUCH AS ACHIEVEMENTS OR WEAPON GETTING WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE DURING TOURNAMENT. EVEN IF YOU DO EXACTLY WHAT YOU MUST TO GET AN ACHIEVEMENT OR WEAPON, YOU WILL NOT GET SAID ACHIEVEMENT OR WEAPON. THIS WILL NOT CHANGE. It is best, thus, to try to get any weapons you want for the tournament before the 23rd. Currently, the practice server is up for grabs--that is, if you want a specific achievement, join the server and request bots of a specific class to assist you.

Currently, everyone from PerfArtsPlayers is invited, but there are some other steam players who are not a part of this group, yet are in PVPA and should therefor be invited. Theo, if you would track down and invite the following (I can help with some):

Go play ASW if you don't know what I'm talking about. The Tesla is about as usefull as the Tesla Sentry now; Handy, but pointless without a shotgun.
