Hello, and yes I am still alive! (Sadly ikr)

It has been a while since I last posted something, and for that, I am sorry.

Everything has been at a stand still recently and I have been using up my spare time for friends and my Media Studies homework (because 11 pages and around 5k words isn't enough work apparently).

Enough about me, but I do have to say this one last thing before I can move on,

Stating an issue regarding the amount and frequency of events. The initial plan was to hold at least 3 events a month, and its quite self explanatory that those plans caved in almost immediately.

And this current state of neglect and lack of events will still carry on and I don't see much change in the near future.

I'm sure you guys can manage, right?

Even though I did say that I had already said enough about me, but I guess I could add this in. The past week has been remarkable, making new friends, finally getting noticed by my Media Studies teacher and chilling and watching movies in school. With tomorrow being the end of school for two weeks!

Surely this would be enough time to host one event?

Yes it would, in fact I would have so much spare time on my hands I could host 5 events with plenty of time left over to game with friends. Yet it would be short lived and yet another 2 month wait before something else were to happen...

So I am deciding to wait until I can be dedicated to this group.

I have no idea when this will happen either, so I recommend that we all wait until further notice.

No Inviting friends to the group without my permission.

Hello guys,

In this announcement I will be discussing some potentially gory stuff. So if for some reason you find graphical detail described in words unbearable, I recommend you do not read this.

At around 4pm (GMT) on the 30/01/13, while driving home from school, it was sunny with clear blue skies. The day seemed welcoming and charming, but what happened next is far from that.
While driving behind a black car (4x4), I was sat in the passenger seat oblivious to the events that were about to occur. After a sudden decline in speed from the car in front, I looked up to see a black silhouette underneath the car, which quickly turned out to be a Ginger tabby cat. I only found out what the silhouette was when it came from underneath the back wheel of the car.
It took me a few seconds to process what had happened, and once I did figure it out - I really wish I didn’t witness these events.

Basically, the car in front had hit the cat with the front bumper, therefor knocking the cat over underneath the car. Thankfully the car was going no faster that 15mph so the cat wouldn't be seriously hurt. But what followed next is something that would stick with me forever. As the events happened so quickly, the cat was in panic and got up and ran into the direct path of the left back wheel. But the cat was unable to stand up in time, and was still led on the ground (i.e. the cat had fallen over and had just gotten up and sort of stumbled forwards) and the cat's head was then crushed underneath the car (Not completely crushed). Due to the cat’s skull being caved in, the cat's nervous system was still functioning and was reacting to being hit by the car. So the cat was now on the floor spazzing out, with flailing legs everywhere. At first glance the seemed to have suffered no body/limb injures, which would be a good thing. As we drove back to see whether the cat was alive, a man in a blue van had exited his vehicle and had carried the lifeless cat to the grassy bank beside the road. At a quick glance the cat had blood on its face and nowhere else on its' body. Sadly, if the cat were to remain still under the vehicle there is a great chance he could have on suffered from a bump to the head or maybe only a few minor injuries.

This may seem pathetic, but I have seen plenty of road kills, but not once have I seen it happen before my eyes. I am now terribly paranoid of taking my dogs on a walk. Even though the chances of this event recurring is very slim. So in memorial of this Ginger Tabby cat, I am going to finally give this group a mascot/proper group image featuring this cat.

Hello thararararar!

I have been following ESO (The Elder Scrolls Online - Yup, Skyrim, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MMO style) for a while now. Up until now, I have been very wary about the game, being a bit sceptical. Don't get me wrong, I dearly love all the TES games, dating back to Morrowind. With Morrowind being the first game I ever actually played properly (I.e. completing the game).
When Skyrim was first announced I went crazy. I was climbing the walls because I was that pumped about it. I have spent countless hours playing the game, scaling any mountains my horse could stand on at a vertical slant. I also had loads of fun hunting deer - for no apparent reason, I'd used to just go into the forests and take down any deer that I came across - I also explored any cave that my fat-ass Khajiit could wriggle his heavy armour through just for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles.
But, what made me wary about ESO is the fact that the TES series was all single player, and I felt a little worried. Mainly because I was scared that it having all these other players roaming around, I felt that it would ruin my gaming experience with TES.
Now, I have repeatedly slapped myself, and ran into a wall a few times. For the reason of: Me being to ignorant and not looking up the game in more detail. And as of late, I have been scaling the ESO website, and had a peak at the Alliances and what race belongs to which Alliance. (Due to the CLOSED BETA sign up and my curiosity)
And Omfg. Overall, my favourite alliance has to be the Ebonheart Pact, mainly because – No, no, read it for yourself: http://elderscrollsonline.com/en/game-guide/alliances/ebonheart-pact
Personally, the Aldmeri Dominion seem like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and the Daggerfall Covenant just aren't as epic as the Ebonheart Pact [OPINIONS].
So far, I have got crazy for the game. Even crazier than I was for Skyrim! So, I recommend looking the game up and reading about it before deciding whether you like it or not. And anyway, since when has Bethesda disappointed us with a TES game? All I can say is that ESO is going to be epic, and I have no doubt about it.

By looking at the announcement's title, you might have got a hint of what I might be talking about. But, if you do not own a legal copy of Minecraft, you might find this post unhelpful or useless.

I have started our very first Hack/Mine server! I tested it earlier on today and it works like a charm. If you do not know what Hack/Mine is, I recommend looking on here: http://hackslashmine.wikia.com/wiki/Hack_Slash_Mine_Wiki

If you are interested in joining the server, you'll first need to download the Technic Launcher, located here: http://www.technicpack.net/tekkit/

Once you have got the Launcher, you should see a box to the top left, click on the box and scroll until you spot the HACK / MINE pack. Once it has been selected, put in your Minecraft login details [Do not login yet] and click Options. On default, the circle "Always use Development builds" should be selected. But, you need to tick the one that is called "Manual build selection". When you have ticked on the circle, select the mod pack build, and set it to "0.5.2 l 1.2.3".

Now, you should be ready to go, but first you need the server details... *Grumble* but I can't accept everyone, so the server will be whitelisted to stop random people joining and ruining the server. To get whitelisted, you need to put your Minecraft username, age, and why I should let you join.

Primarily this server was made for me and a few friends to play on from time to time. Due to my Internet provider's lack of reliability, I've had to shorten the list of open spaces from around 12 to about 9 (Not including me). So far about 5 of those spaces are taken up/reserved.

Referring to the last paragraph, if you have been accepted onto the whitelist you may reserve your space if you do not have access to a Laptop/Computer etc. but you still wish to join the server. The reserve only lasts for a week, so it gives other people a chance to join.

I understand that the way this is going for now, isn’t entirely fair. Since I said that the server is our server (P>I<E’s server) and since all of you are in P>I<E, surely shouldn’t you be allowed to join freely? But at this current moment in time, I cannot afford a server that can be hosted 24/7 and has plenty of slots for you and your friends. So, this will have to make do for now, until March; when hopefully the DayZ standalone will be released and then I can get a dedicated DayZ server and a dedicated Minecraft server (Still deciding on server type, i.e. Tekkit, Survival games, Hack / Mine etc.)

No need to give donations to get a better server, as Hack / Mine is currently in Alpha and is not supported for Bukkit plugins. In other words there is no point in purchasing a dedicated server, where there is not much that we can do to keep the server safe, free from hackers and where it makes any Admins work much harder. Whereas in March, there is a better chance that Hack / Mine will be supported with bukkit plugins. And that concludes why I have to put a whitelist on the server, so only a small amount of people are allowed to join the server, because it's easier to manage and it's easier to keep control of hackers.
