While I am away for PDXCON, BlackFire Forge, another renowned member of the community and GM, is going to host a HOI4 saturday session. I will hand over the mic to him now.

Hey @everyone it's your ole' pal Forgey McForge.

I'd like to organize a Saturday MP match for HOI4 on 5/19/18. We'll be playing Vanilla. I'll be live streaming this on YouTube as well if you want to watch/chat.

Please note I will be hosting this all in the Paradox Interative MP Discord server. If you need/want access lemme know and I can post it here

See below for items regarding this:

i)When: SATURDAY 5/19/18
iI) Lobby Opens: 8:00 BST / 3:00 PM ET / 12:00 PT
iiI) Game Begins: 8:30 PM BST / 3:30 PM ET / 12:30 PT
iv) Duration: 3-4 Hours (minimum, longer if all are happy/having fun)
v) This'll be a one-time game. The player/faction that controls Germany & France at the end of the stream wins :)
vi) House Rules:
-We'll try to run at 3-4 speed constantly unless someone is lagging (4 being preferred)
-Players must pick a European Nation
- I'll post the password and ID when the lobby opens in #announcements

- I do encourage any crazy antics you want to do, and secret plots should be done in-game chat or steam. Alternatively you can use a different discord if you'd like if you have a faction
- This is a relaxed game so don't be a try-hard and perform douche like antics....just have fun
-If for whatever reason you try to change your nation mid-game you'll get kicked
-We'll use the Hearts of Iron IV Voice Channel to chat and be silly on the stream
- No crazy vulgar language....like use your brain boyoooo's (i.e. don't keep saying the N word over and over and over again or you'll get muted)
- We'll claim countries during the open lobby
- Do not spam any requests to other players
- Do not boost other player's unless they request
- Don't use my stream to spy on your boy Forge

If you are not coming to PDXCON, there is little to no reason why you shouldn't take a Saturday afternoon/evening off just to enjoy some entertainment in HOI4 multiplayer. I might join you lot on discord voice chat while you are enjoying the game - who knows?

I am heading off to PDXCON in Stockholm tomorrow.

As you should very well be aware of, the conference itself will begin on Friday and last for a total of three days. I know that most of you here are not going to attend the conference itself, so I am here to offer my service to you: if you have got any questions that you would like to ask the developers about, I am more than happy to ask the questions for you (as long as those questions are legit) and hopefully get a decent reply from them. Please feel free to write your questions down in the general chat on discord, or alternatively, send me a PM via steam or discord.

If you are also coming to PDXCON, then please feel free to let me know via PM and we can meet up in the hotel/conference centre.

I hope you are having a nice weekend. While I am busy finishing the AAR on the last EU4 MP Campaign, we have plans to keep you busy. Since a new expansion has been released for HOI4 along with the big patch 1.5 Cornflakes, Blackfire Forge, the GM of HOI4, is hosting a HOI4 multiplayer session on Sunday, codenamed "SS - Servicing Sunday". It is time again for another clash of titans in our EU4 campaign. This is the ultimate session of the campaign, and with Hindustan absent and unprotected, the remaining players are fighting for the second and third place. Rumour has it that there is a coalition forming against the Egyptians and Mughals, and which side shall emerge as victors in a seemingly inevitable great war in the eastern world? And finally, which three players shall become the triumvirate and be rewarded with an attractive sum of trophies? The questions shall be answered in this ultimate session.
