Just found out that the South Gambit game has the editor. Can`t say the program is as I hoped though. I really expected Sturmovik on the sea.

Hi! I have just joined this group. I have not yet downloaded either of the PT Boats games, but am very tempted HOWEVER I do need to ask one question before I give in to temptation...is there a mission editor ? I am very interested in the sea war in the Med, in WW2, and I understand that Southern Gambit covers this rarely talked about part of the war. Thanks for any info!

Looks like STEAM got their act together.. games installed correctly now!

Battlefront.com has a repository for mission files for PT Boat series.. but.. it's empty! I just added a Multiplayer map to it that is editable.. I do not know how long they take in adding it to their system.. just a heads up as to file section already online..

It's a typical Russian made game, rough and unpolished but if you like what its about it it wont matter and you keep playing..Like Stalker, or Men at War or whatnot. This has good moments, between boring gaps, if they'd smoothen it out it would be great.

@Merkata.. Might not been a bad Idea with the name.. I am hoping they released these on steam because another version is in the makings? maybe not. This series falls just short in a few places which stops it from being a total success. so close! I could see a new version making it big.

Can we change the group to PT Boats Series [Global]? Since probably only like 50 people worldwide will buy this game we might as well have everybody in one group. It'd suck to be the EU-West division on my own.

South Gambit is the latest in the series.. till steam fixes the Bundle blunder, I assume the better of the two to have installed.

Duellona posted in the forum: If you bought the GOLD bundle and only have Knights of the sea, just delete local content of both and start SOuth Gambit download. You will then have it.. ofcourse the other will not download..:)

I do know LAN works in either version. I would suggest trying tunggle(FREE) and see if we can get some games going.. let me know if anyone is interested. I do not know the exact ports for forwarding yet..help needed here.. but those with open port systems can host.

looks like 10-28-11 was the release on Steam. I have problems getting South Gambit to download. Hopefully steam will fix this ASAP!
