As a lot of you have noticed, I havent been playing planetside as much as I did when VVG was at its peak. The reason for this is partly due to other games and party due to real life. Regardless, I feel it is time to do the right thing and pass the leadership hat on to the next group of gentleman.

Starting today, VVG's will no longer be recruiting and active members can apply to the new outfit XQ created by Cujo, Denni3 and monkey or any other outfit they find fits their style. The idea is to loose the inactive people and start fresh with a core of people that enjoy playing together and with leaders dedicated to that group as well as give everyone a chance to confirm they still want to play with this community.

Personally I will be joining their ranks in 1-2 weeks after I feel the remaining inactive characters can be removed and the outfit closed, safeguarding the experiences and memories that went along with it. The 3 people mentioned above will be considred the leaders of XQ, I will still be running squads from time to time when I do move over.

As a leader I want to thank every member that put time and effort into VVG. The squad leaders, the streamers, the video makers and every person that played with us even just as a grunt in the squads. Thank you and I hope the experience was a pleasant for you as it was for me. You were the first to fight and the last to fall. You were the vanguards.

I sincerely wish those that dont join us in the new outfit the best of luck in everything they do both in planetside and real life. It was a pleasure.

From Wednesday night until...whenever, let's level up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! Whoever gains the most BRs, ends at the highest BR, highest score, most kills, etc... between Wednesday and the end of the weekend gets bragging rights and a smug felling of self satisfaction.

It's time to bring back the Galaxy Gunship in full force. Now this event will require a lot of people, since each galaxy will need 4-5 people. We will need upgraded Galaxies to make this one work, I will be upgrading mine as well, I do hope others will as well. MAP, Iron Pulse and us will be joining up once again as I want to blot out the sun with Gunships. It will be semi-serious as I want to get things done but also have a laugh. I will make this clear, I want every one to pay attention to their surroundings losing Galaxies to ***** ups when people aren't paying attention is annoying.

Recommended Equipment and Certifications:

A30 Walker both Top and Tail: 500 Certs or 700 SC each
M60-A Bulldog both wings: 250 Certs or 500 SC each
Fire Suppression Rank 1: 30 Certs
Nanite Auto Repair System Rank 4 or 5: Rank 1, 2, 3 and 4 will cost a total of 500 Certs, adding Rank 5 will add a total of 1000 Certs.
High-G Airframe Rank 1 at least, preferred Rank 3: 100 Certs for Rank 1.
Aquishion Timer Rank 5: Total of 191 Certs.

As per usual these are recommendations, however these are quite necessary and I realize this is very expensive, unfortunately to make these work they require a lot of points. However like for all events I shall be pimp'ing my Galaxy.

I'll be running an operation dedicated to armor on Saturday night 13/07, start at 20.00 GMT.
The expected duration is 2 hours, but of course you are welcome to leave early or keep playing with armor after that.

Magriders will be the backbone of the formation. I would advise investing into the Saron HRB or the Halberd as I find the default secondary gun a bit underwhelming (both in fun-factor and effectiveness).

We will also need anti-air in the form of one or two skyguards. I already have one, it's better if we get others to bring theirs, but I would not advise people to buy the weapon unless you know you like shooting at airplanes.

To counter annoying strikers, we will need a sniper.

For support we will need a sunderer with an ammo dispenser. I'm not sure if we'll need a repair sunderer since we'll probably have enough engineers, but if someone has it, feel free to bring it. I'm curious to see how well it works.

I will try to find other armor columns to fight, as opposed to farming infantry out of spawns. If you bring a lightning, the preferred setup will be Armor-Piercing (beside the skyguard which I already mentioned).

I don't know on which continent we will fight. If there is a continental alert, we will probably go there as those seem to be the most balanced fights we can get.

If you are interested in the operation and want to participate, please leave a comment with the equipment you will bring so that I can get an idea of whether we will have all roles covered.

If you'd like to participate but are not available at the planned date, please say so ASAP. I am flexible and can pick another date, but I'd rather have a fixed date by wednesday to avoid last minute confusion and cancellation.

But it won't be just limited to the Lasher, not at all. We want Lancers, Super Sayian Max suits, Tron Lights, Neon Lights, Glowing helmets, PPA weapons, If it's fabulous we'll use it!

The event will be semi serious, so we will try and get things achieved, but the meat of it will be using Lashers, Lancers and Super Sayian Max's. Obviously, if you want to be part but feel you're not fabulous enough we will need a supply of Engineers and Medics at hand.
Blitzkrieg will be running and leading this event.
