TS_Mind_Swept 2 Mar, 2016 @ 8:32pm
does anyone even post here any more?
ScienceHerWay 25 Jul, 2015 @ 4:13pm
I'm leaving the group because I'm getting busy and it's kinda slow. Enjoy the ride guys :D
TS_Mind_Swept 16 Mar, 2015 @ 2:39am
I just made a thread for testing (I also realized what doing that was XD) check it. :p2aperture:
ScienceHerWay 11 Dec, 2014 @ 8:41pm
I love testing maps too ^-^ I finished editing my two test chambers and I'm "hungry for more test chambers" too. This is a great group and I wish you all the best of luck, have fun and merry christmas! Or whatever you celebrate ;)
snakeathon 26 Nov, 2014 @ 7:14pm
Love being a playtester so much, hungry for more test chambers. Glad this group was created!

Hey guys, I'm afraid I have some bad news, After re-setting my Steam Files after almost losing my computer, I lost all of my BEE2 Files. I may never make a test ever again. Sorry to say, but I'm leaving the group... :(
vioray 11 Nov, 2014 @ 3:16am
it is indeed, the important thing is to clearly say what works and doesn't about the level for you so the mapmaker can have an idea of what to fix in the next release or what to work on for their future maps, the more good feedback they get the better they'll be able to develop their skills. you seem to have covered that and given a good bit of detail. I think this is the first time I've reviewed a review though :P
snakeathon 10 Nov, 2014 @ 6:02pm
vioray is this good enough for a review? I reviewed this workshop item.

Wow 21 members, That's awesome! I hope we can all work together, help eachother out and have fun :D. I hope you all have a great time here and I wish you all the best of lucky <3. #TestingRules lets try to make this a trend :P.
snakeathon 10 Nov, 2014 @ 1:42pm
I guess I can be a playtester, I can try
vioray 10 Nov, 2014 @ 12:21pm
constructive criticism refers more to saying "I didn't like this because..." rather than "this really, really sucks" rather than meaning every comment has to be clever and insightful. sometimes just a simple "I liked this, didn't find any bugs" is enough, or of course pointing out any bugs you did find. but it's of course entirely up to you
snakeathon 9 Nov, 2014 @ 4:12pm
Thanks vioray for telling me about this group, I am not sure if I want to be a playtester though. I am not sure if my comments are 'constructive' enough.
vioray 8 Nov, 2014 @ 4:20am
that's fair enough, although it's not so much about advertising as highlighting which of your maps you'd most value feedback on. if you'd prefer not to post your maps individually though that's ok, you can still make a thread for testing other peoples maps if you wish to
TS_Mind_Swept 6 Nov, 2014 @ 6:52pm
I don't really like advertising my stuff, so I'm just going to say I'm here and my workshop is open to whoever wants to take a look. :D :p2aperture:
toncica 30 Oct, 2014 @ 9:49am
Yes, those threads were already bumped by another person who managed to make 18 identical posts, he beat you by one. It's beyond me how anybody can think this behavior is getting good reception. Would it be acceptable if I made the same post in all of this group's threads?
vioray 30 Oct, 2014 @ 9:07am
those threads were already the top posts on those pages, I did send a message to support asking them to merge the threads as well and recomending them to make a sticky with instructions to only use that one. it doesn't seem, unfortunately, like they have much interest though, as the forums are always topped by "looking for co-op" in the general section and advert threads in workshop
you do have a good point though in that it doesn't look good. I'll delete some of them
toncica 30 Oct, 2014 @ 8:19am
I did not expect to see this kind of excessive spam in the workshop section from the founder of this group. 17 advertising threads were bumped by the same post. All other discussion threads are pushed from the first page because of the same post.
vioray 15 Oct, 2014 @ 9:35am
glad to see things are taking off and we've got to a good start helping eachother out with our maps and hopefully having fun playing them. feel free to advertise and invite anyone you feel will fit in with the groups goals
ScienceHerWay 12 Oct, 2014 @ 12:14pm
welcome to the group every one :)
Argeon 11 Oct, 2014 @ 11:34pm
Thank you for the invite! I'm so glad to finally have a group of great people focus on a goal that has been long-lost in the Portal 2 community.
Traveler807 10 Oct, 2014 @ 9:09pm
Thanks for joining Scientist_RaptorGirl:) We put a system in place, please read the rules in full in the Rules/Guidelines thread, in short:

1.Please make a thread, call it 'scientist_rapergirls_thread' (or something like that, the name is not really important but it must be obvious it belongs to you:)
2.Find a thread with someone looking for a map, and post a link to them. (Please dont post to people who have a map pending, wait untill they post to say they are ready:)
3.The other member will post a map link on your thread
4.People play maps and give feedback:)

This is the 'Mutual Testing Initiative' not just an advertising group:) the threads will be moderated. If you have any problems, questions, suggestions on how to make the group better please post in the rules/guidelines thread.

Thanks again for joining, I hope you have fun testing:)......Traveler807
ScienceHerWay 10 Oct, 2014 @ 12:52pm
How do I link my test chamber?
ScienceHerWay 10 Oct, 2014 @ 12:42pm
Thanks for the invite. I'm very happy to have joined this group :) Later I will help advertise this group so more people can join. Thanks again for inviting me. #Test4Ever make it a trend <3
vioray 4 Oct, 2014 @ 7:56pm
that may be because I forgot to advertise the group after I finished setting it up :P I've thrown a post into the workshop forums now so hopefully it'll get a bit of notice
joe47 4 Oct, 2014 @ 7:40pm
I'm suprised no one else joined before me. It's great you have a group dedicated to people that make Portal 2 maps and don't get noticed. I'll be sure to help you on your journey to get these people feedback!
