en-us Steam Community RSS When I (Voltie) first launched OpenComms I never thought it would be as used as it is today, from just being a 12-slot server we have now expanded to 50 slots! The first idea was for this teamspeak to become something along the lines of a private server for me and Cobra to invite the fokes we played with to while we were playing.<br><br>Now to celebrate the 2-year old server we will hand out the rank &quot;Old School&quot; to all of those who've now been on the server for 2 entire years.<br><br>When we first decided to open up the server on private PC's we merely got DDoSed which made it impossible for us to play CoD together at that time. So I decided to buy a server eventually with the capacity of 20 slots which I thought we'd never fill up, eventually we did either way, and so we opened up 5 more slots which almost instantly got filled up during weekends, at this point I couldn't afford a 50-slot server which was the main idea as we filled up 25 slots. I used all the donation money to pay the first 6 months for the 50 slot server, and with the notorious part of my casting I got offered a job and decided to use the income from that to drive this server forward.<br><br>Tell us one of your early memories on the server in the comment section below or in the server, we will choose 2 of the greatest posts to recieve a <i>rare badge</i> on the server! :)<br><br>Thanks for the awesome support and interest for this server, we're still going strong!
