Attitude towards to the game is prefferable to skill level, however, you still need to have an understanding of the semi-advanced game and concepts. I've been watching Competitive Dota for about 2 or 3 years now and I've always enjoyed the level of play showcased in these games. It's been a small, far-fetched dream that I'd be able to make myself apart of the process of a competitive scene here in New Zealand and in Australia.
Over the last week or so I've decided to try make this a reality. I'm talking to a few of my friends who know HTML and the rest of it to make a website to be a main hub for members. I'm also going to contact kaidash about his dota league bot he developed (kaidash if you read this I'll be PMing you shortly).

I realised that if we as Oceanic players want a community to discuss Dota and organise IH games and tournaments. We have to put in the effort ourselves and work hard for it. I'm not claiming to be anyone special or deserving to start this, simply that I want to try.
What I'm asking of you in this subreddit, is - Are you wanting this to happen and are you willing to work with me and support my endeavor to bring this dream to reality?
I'm going to be realistic about this and plan this properly, instead of rushing in head-first and burning out.
