I regret being unable to join the last TF2 league team. Nevertheless, there is a renewed interest in TF2. So far we have eight players and we need one more. If any of you in NoXNet would like to participate in our TF2 team, go ahead and drop by our ventrilo (72.51.60.40:3802). A microphone IS required as we need to coordinate the team quickly. We don't need the hinderance of having to wait for someone to type out "There's a sniper in the window" when the scouts have already dispatched of it.

Sheep: Demo/Heavy/Bencher
Stinger: Scout
Templar: Scout/Demo
Tiffany: Medic (Team Director)

Misc info related to classes:


If you're interested in joining the TF2 team here are a few things to consider about the classes and their roles. The medic is the team's director as they are most aware of the battle (their role is required to evade enemy fire and choose who to heal). The scouts work independantly of the team but together with other scouts. They are the eyes and ears of the battlefield to alert the team of incoming enemies though their role in combat is not to be discounted by their reconaissance role. Pocket soldier is the soldier which sticks to the Medic and kills everyone in sight while the second soldier is expected to dodge enemy fire, stay alive as long as possible and kill as many people as possible. Being either of these soldiers requires proficiency in rocket jumping. The Demoman is required for the amount of damage he does and the angles he can deflect his projectiles. Pyro is an important defensive class.

So, choose your role if you want to join. Classes not mentioned above doesn't mean they aren't completely useless (but close to it).

Well well well, the CSS server died down and a bunch of you guys started playing TF2 again. I have replaced the CSS server with a TF2 one and am looking into heading into CAL-O for the 3rd season of TF2 play.

SLAGG was a fun time in CAL but most of the members were NOT NoXNet and thus it got anoyying. I want to bring actual NoXNet members into the light and play some nice competative TF2 with them.

Confirm for Brawl in the forums, following is a list of players I want for sure and class' I would prefere they have. CAL only requires 1 night a week for play (usually tuesday) and it can be rescheduled.

We will of course have to practice a bit, possibly recruit some to fill out the ranks (i'm sure you would all enjoy the hazing).
