Eugen’s desire is to skew towards historical accuracy over what they referred to as the contrived, 'rock-paper-scissors' balancing of other RTSes. Whether the three-phase battle system and strategic considerations will allow them to make such a detailed recreation fun and balanced remains to be seen

i.e unbalanced as fuck with no regard to comp play and for casuals only

"Our task will not be an easy one" is a quote from Dwight D. Eisenhower from the Allied invasion on D-Day. Thus, their new game will likely be a World War 2 game, though unfortunately, not RUSE 2, since that Franchise is still owned by Ubisoft, but would the name matter anyway? :P
Apparently, their new publisher will also be Paradox Interactive, which means a lot of DLCs.. but with that also comes continous development and a lot of patches and depth added over time, which is awesome! There'll also be full Iris Zoom ;D

So... let's stay tuned for next week and see what they'll bring!
