The Minecraft server is back in a big way. It's now back on a dedicated box instead of being on a VM. "WELL WHAT THE SAM HELL DOES THAT MEAN FOR ME?!" "NO MORE GOD DAMN LAG!"

1.8 is buggy on linux.

Just so everyone knows the 1.8 update made the linux distro of the game a little unstable. I think I got it working alright now, but there might be a crash or two. If it gets really bad I'll throw it over on to one of my Windows servers.

Guys, sorry about the up and down with the server lately. I'm not even sure how many of you guys have been trying to play minecraft.

But "GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!" the server has been migrated to a high end VM on a Dell Poweredge 1850, and it will be staying up for the foreseeable future.
