A coalition has been formed between the Hohenzollern-Imperial Party and the Dutch People's Party. The leader of the minority party, Johan Cromwell, will become Prime Minister, with the blessing of the majority party. He will take in addition the office of Minister of Defence, which will be combined with the position of Minister of the Armed Forces. In the coming days a cabinet will be formed, but for now, all Dutchmen can rest assured that they have a firm hand at the ship of state.

Johan Cromwell visited the King earlier today and received offiical permission to form a government. He has been flooded with letters of congratulation from across the country, especially his home province in South Holland.

May God preserve this new government!

As you guys know, this interim election has only been made so that we can have a running government. From this day forward, any politician, minister, or party leader may make announcements detailing campaigns and listing a region of election, in order to increase your party's pull in a region.

With the ending of elections, the Dutch Government is stuck in a minority government, so it is best fitted for a coalition moving forward.

The Dutch Hohenzollern-Dutch Imperialist Party led the charge, raking in a suprising 44% of the vote, stealing the election and 48 Seats of the States General.

In second, the Dutch Liberal Party, securing 33% of the vote, securing 36 seats.

In third, the Dutch People's Party, securing 23% of the vote, Securing 26 seats.

The king will allow another day for the forming of government.
