Thanks, Das Panda. We appreciate your help greatly.

Sorry about the spam going out everyone, I was unaware. I fix
4 Aug, 2019 @ 4:21pm
I delete them when I see them. Seems a new account is created and then they add 4 announcements with the same scam site.
Not sure how I got admin powers, nobody asked me. (Leaving and joining did nothing). Still its not the level needed to deliver the love that only admins can give.
4 Aug, 2019 @ 4:17pm
Someone needs to set permissions to stop this announcement spam

Uh, that did NOT work.
2 Jun, 2018 @ 6:24pm
Know what?I'm going to attempt that right now so there's no risk of me accidntly doing something.
2 Jun, 2018 @ 6:05pm
I just wanted someone to know... I suddenly have access to "Officer" pages for this group. Perhaps someone accidently did that. If I have to leave the group manually and come back then I will.

Updated "ABOUT BRINGING BACK NS1" Profile Information; named swiss as player of the week! congratulations to, swiss.

This group needs a bit more activity, and show of support to those who are being active on NS1. Take a moment to look over @Bacsu's development on NS1. You can see development (though sparse) has continued on NS1 for 5 years now.

this is beyond words

Usually it's been Friday's with a good amount of success. Sunday's might be good too. I'd imagine most people might be out doing stuff on a Saturday.
14 Jun, 2017 @ 2:16am
What day of the week do you think would be best for people to try to get a few rounds of NS1 in? Friday? Saturday? Sunday?

Like I've said before, all it really takes is setting up an event via the group's admin tools. All users here have access to them. I said before that I planned to start an event myself, but I just didn't get around to it. I wish I could have avoided that problem, but I'm in graduate school, so I'm always either reading or doing research. I would plan an event regardless, but I feel under obligation to show up when I am the one planning. Thus if I cannot show up, I do not do the planning.

Sad to see this group is dead... I'm down for some ns1 if anyone else is ;(
10 Jan, 2017 @ 1:53pm
I suspect sometime in early February on a Friday around 9:30 pm et. Any preferences?
9 Jan, 2017 @ 12:01am
Any thoughts on when will the next scheduled gameplay session take place?
7 Jan, 2017 @ 12:49pm
The way I figure it is that we try to at least put together at least one game night per month. We could do more, but usually it is me who lays the starting groundwork for a night and then people spread the word and do the rest. In short, I'll try to commit to planning one game night per month, but people are more than welcome to doing more. Everyone in this group has the permissions to start an event. And if anyone wants to use the analagous BAD Steam Group to plan as well, get in contact with a select number of former BAD members such as myself or alternatively get in contact with wulf. Only those people have the permissions for that group, although I'm not sure how effective its outreach is despite its much larger membership.

One more note, last night was great. Looking forward to future games throughout the year. We got about 20+ people to show up and had a number of great games.

Let's organize an event. I wanna play!
21 Oct, 2016 @ 10:30am
it's friday mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lets get a game goin
20 Oct, 2016 @ 2:15pm
In short, usually if someone just schedules the game, people come. And those people begin seeding the server via word of mouth. That's usually how it works anyways.
20 Oct, 2016 @ 2:11pm
In answer to the question as to whether games go on anymore, I believe that is a question of scheduling more than anything. Every member in this group can schedule a game via the interface. Usually we've done Friday nights. And usually the games have been scheduled by Kookie or I. But I've been busy, and it seems that Kookie has too. Scheduling a game should not require either Kookie or I to do so.

Pff, offical NS site download link is down once again...
20 Oct, 2016 @ 6:23am
Is there any games going on anymore/active communities? EU timezone would be great.

Thanks for the invite. While I am definitely interested, I'm not sure how much I can contribute. There has already been one effort to either revive NS1 or BAD in the past, and I wasn't able to do much in those regards. So I don't want to overpromise. After much ado, what's the game plan?
