Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, created the clay on Saturday and He created the mountains on Sunday and He created the trees on Monday and He created the things entailing labour on Tuesday and created light on Wednesday and He caused the animals to spread on Thursday and created Adam (peace be upon him) after 'Asr on Friday; the last creation at the last hour of the hours of Friday, i. e. between afternoon and night.

Imam Al-Barbahari, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

“And know, may Allah have mercy upon you that knowledge is not in being able to narrate much and in having many books, rather the scholar is the one who follows the knowledge and the Sunnah, even if his knowledge and his books are limited, and whoever opposes the Book and the Sunnah, he is a proponent of Bidah, even if he narrates much and has many books”.

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, said:

The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him, never criticised any food, but he would eat it if he liked it; otherwise he would leave it”.

[al-Bukhaari 3563]

Ḥāfidh Ibn Ḥajar said:
والكذب هو الإخبار بالشيء على خلاف ما هو عليه، سواء كان عمدًا أم خطأً

“Lying is to inform about something different to what it is, wheth
er intentionally or by mistake."

Fatḥ al-Bārī (1/201)
