If your computer can run Star Citizen at 60 FPS, it can easily run Elite: Dangerous at 60FPS or higher.

Its a game. Best played with a joystick and throttle much like Star Citizen when flying a ship. But some people can play easily with a controller or even keyboard and mouse. Just look it up on steam.
