Hey mathas, I saw your prison architect let's play from today and I love your series. If you don't like to start building a new prison all over again, maybe it's an idea to use a prison from the steam workshop. A few weeks ago I put a very basic prison (Alpha 31) on the steam workshop, all the usual stuff is in it + a separate section for death row. There is also enough space and budget to build it into a really nice big prison with more separate section for protective custody and supermax prisoners.
