IMPERIAL AND STORMCLOAK AMBASSADORS EXPELLED

After a day of bickering, the ambassadors sent by Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak and General Tullius have been expelled from Understone Keep, the City of Stone, and the Kingdom of the Reach and it's territory. The Court has sent with them a message regarding Imperial and Stormcloak influence within the Reach and Whiterun, which of no doubt will be an offense to Jarl Ulfric and General Tullius.

RESULTS OF ORC MEETING

The meeting between the Orsimer tribe of Dushnikh Yal and the Kingdom of the Reach has resulted in a major friendship between the Orsimer and the Kingdom. The document issued between the two governments shall be posted, with no information withheld, for every citizen of the Kingdom to read. Chief Burguk of the Dushnikh Yal Orsimer welcomed the thought of a meeting with open arms, stating "It is time that the Orsimer of Dushnikh Yal opened the doors to their civilization, just like it is time for the Kingdom of the Reach to recognize our presence and independence".

MARRIAGE BETWEEN THE KINGDOM OF THE REACH AND THE KINGDOM OF WHITERUN

Today, in the early hours of the morning, the marriage between Jarl Halftand and Eranela of the Kingdom of Whiterun were committed in the eyes of Mara. This marriage marks an excellent progression towards stability within the Kingdom of the Reach. The Jarl of Whiterun, Ragnar Thorn-Beard, gave his blessing in what appeared to be a tone of relief. The marriage solidifies an alliance with the Kingdom of Whiterun and the future reign of Jarl Halftand over the Kingdom of Whiterun.

THALMOR DEBATE AND ULTIMATUM

With the debate still occuring between international leaders, most favor the Kingdom of the Reach against the Aldmeri Dominion. Currently, the Aldmeri Dominion demands the deposition of Jarl Halftand in favor of a person with Imperial beliefs. While no demands are being made against the Dominion, the leaders who favor the Kingdom of the Reach have put forth requests for treaties as a precaution of a Thalmor invasion. The leaders that favor the Kingdom are currently King Shadow-Tail of Argonia, Queen Faeren Redoran of Morrowind, High King Ra'taq of Hammerfell, and Jarl Ragnar Thorn-Beard of the Kingdom of Whiterun. The leaders that favor the Aldmeri Dominion are currently Queen Arannelya of the Aldmeri Dominion, Mane Ka' Rad of Anequina, and Mane R 'Tuc of Pelletine. The current neutral leaders are Emperor Titus Mede II of the Mede Empire and Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak of the Kingdom of Skyrim.

THALMOR AMBASSADORS

As with the Imperial and Stormcloak ambassadors, the Aldmeri Dominion has sent Thalmor ambassadors to the City of Stone. However, the Court has refused the entrance of the Thalmor in any way, sparking a heated debate among international leaders. The debate includes a supposed breaking of the White-Gold Concordat created at the end of the Great War between the Dominion and the Empire. One party suggests that the Kingdom of the Reach breaks the treaty by disallowing any Thalmor influence within the kingdom, while the other party defends the Reach, and for that matter Whiterun, as the Kingdoms were not included in the treaty. This debate holds the attention of most of the international leaders, including the King of Argonia and House Redoran of Morrowind, both of which support the Reach and Whiterun in it's defense.

ORC MEETING

As previously released, the Chief of the Orsimer stronghold Dushnikh Yal has agreed to the meeting between the Kingdom of the Reach and the stronghold of Dushnikh Yal. The meeting shall be held at the Reachwind Eyrie tomorrow at noon sharp. General Fire-Bear, Thane Strong-Arm, and myself shall attend the meeting to show our thoughtfulness to the idea. The results of the meeting shall be given when appropriate.

VAMPIRE ATTACK IN THE CITY OF STONE
----------------
Tragedy struck the City of Stone today in the marketplace, when a group of five vampires attacked citizens of Markarth. Two citizens, a woman named Margret and a man named Eltrys, were murdered by these monsters and three more citizens were injured. The injured citizens wish to remain anonymous. The guard, as well as the soldiers, put the group of vampires down before they could harm anymore civilians and advance onto the Court itself. Information regarding this attack shall be released once available.

Message from Whiterun

Today, at around six in the afternoon, a woman from Whiterun arrived in the Court bearing a message for the Jarl. The message, requested by the Jarl to not be distributed, details a request for a Noble marriage between the woman, the only heir to the throne of Whiterun and Jarl Halftand. The Jarl of Whiterun, Ragnar Thorn-Beard, included in his message the woman, of which is identified by the name Eranela, is Jarl Ragnar's cousin and only surviving family member. His concern is that once he passes on, she will inherit his throne and because of her lack in political skill, he wishes for Jarl Halftand to marry Eranela in order for Whiterun to have a competent leader. This marriage would mean that the Kingdom of Whiterun would be annexed by the Kingdom of the Reach, thus doubling the size of the current kingdom. Jarl Halftand issued his decision on the subject, being to marry Eranela and aid a fellow Jarl and Nord. Details of the marriage shall be released once available.

SUCCESS AT KOLSKEGGR MINE
------------------
Recently, the Court has received word that the detachment of soldiers sent by General Jyylgen to Kolskeggr Mine has been successful in the reclamation of the mine. The soldiers shall remain in the mine, in order to ward off anymore attackers and to assist in the repair of the mine and the buildings. The detachment received a relatively small amount of casualties, out of fifteen soldiers only two were severly injured and three received minor wounds. Healers will be sent to the mine to assist the wounded and boost the moral of the injured soldiers. In the Captain's report of the skirmish, he detailed that the soldiers showed the same amount of mercy to the Forsworn as the Forsworn had to the civilians and only let one live to spread the news of the attack to King Madanach in the Druadach Redoubt.

IMPERIAL AND STORMCLOAK AMBASSADORS AND SCOUTING PARTIES

As the war between the Imperials and the Stormcloaks rages on, neutral nations such as ourselves and the hold of Whiterun are constantly being influenced by both sides of the war. Although neither side has been successful in their endeavors, both continue to pressure the neutral nations. Ambassadors sent by both Jarl Ulfric and General Tullius are present within the capital, having forced their way into the Understone Keep. Even now, they constantly argue with each other and show their anger through words until they're near to physical violence. To further the motion of attempted influence over the Kingdom of the Reach, the Court has received news of Imperial and Stormcloak camps and scouting parties within the Reach. Both the Imperials and the Stormcloaks will be watched with a sharp eye, in case of possible military invasion.

CONTACT WITH ORC STRONGHOLD
------------------
For many fortnights, there have been rumors told of an Orc stronghold within the Reach and in close distance to the City of Stone. To discover whether this rumor was in fact true, the Court sent a courier with a message requesting a meeting with the Chief of the stronghold in a matter of peace and perhaps an alliance for trade purposes. Since then, the courier has returned with a response from the Chief himself, which states "We shall consider this proposition. However, in order to guarantee a safe meeting, we shall choose where it shall be held." Details regarding the location and the time are not determined at the moment, however, further information shall be released when available.

ESTABLISHMENT OF THE WAR COUNCIL

With the war raging ever so closer to the Reach, the Court has decided to establish a War Council that shall be in effect immediately and will be considered a branch of the government. The positions that are established with the Council are: the High Councilor, the Speaker of the Council, the Councilor of Assault, the Councilor of Defense, the Councilor of the Garrison, and the Councilor of the Militia. The Council's primary purpose is to advise the Court on the action of war, with it's secondary purpose being to assist in the training of troops and the production of war equipment and resources. The consideration of the rank of their positions are: the High Councilor is to be apart of the Noble Court, the Speaker of the Council is to be apart of the Civil Court, and the other Councilors will be in their own branch of the government.

FORSWORN SLAUGHTERING OF KOLSKEGGR MINE

The government has received word of an attack on Kolskeggr Mine, only a short distance away from the City of Stone, in which all but two of the residents were slaughtered mercilessly. The two survivors of the attack, Pavo Attius and Gat gro-Shargakh, spread word to the miners of the Left Hand Mine and gave an account to which they stated that they barely escaped with their lives. Pavo Attius is an Imperial and is the owner of Kolskeggr Mine, while Gat gro-Shargakh is an Orsimer and is one of the miners who work for Mr. Attius. Given the situation and the value of Kolskeggr Mine, the General of the Reach has sent a detachment of fifteen soldiers to the mine to retake and garrison the mine.

IMPERIALS AND STORMCLOAKS BATTLE IN THE PALE

To everyone's knowledge, Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak of Eastmarch has declared a War for Skyrim Independence agaisnt the Mede Empire. The holds of the Pale, Winterhold, and the Rift have all taken up arms against the Empire in support of the Stormcloak cause. Lately, a battle between the Empire and the Stormcloaks occurred in the Pale and left the guard of the Pale in shambles. The battle, of which has no name, occurred between Loreius Farm and the giant camp of Blizzard Rest and is said to have had over five thousand casualties on both sides, totalling to a casualty rate of ten thousand men and women. This battle is unknown to be the biggest battle of the War for Skyrim Independence, however, both sides came out of the battle licking their wounds.

RUMORS OF VAMPIRE ATTACKS AND THE DAWNGUARD

Rumors abound of the surfacing of vampire attacks throughout the many holds of Skyrim. These vampires attack during both day and night, signaling a growing presence throughout the entire province of Skyrim and thus signals a growing threat. Many people believe this to be a sign of the end of the world we know and love, although others believe this to be the work of the Thalmor, due to their major use of magic and the Conjuration school. However, more rumors are spreading about the resurfacing of the Dawnguard, an organization of vampire hunters that began in the Rift in the Second Era and hold many stories relating to their downfall. Whatever the case may be with these vampires and Dawnguard, the people of the Reach shall always be protected under the watchful eyes of the Eight Divines.
