We are pleased to announce a new public beta testing for Mani-Admin-Plugin version 1.2U (Beta Phase 2).

This update of the binaries is mostly intended only for server operators hosting games on the Orange Box version of the Source Engine. If running a Linux server with an Orange Box based game, it is necessary to update your current mani_admin_plugin.vdf file / MetaMod:Source .vdf file, since VALVe changed the way plug-ins are loaded in Linux. It is now necessary to include the _i486 file name for plug-ins in order to load them. Those changes only affect Linux based server running Orange Box based games (DoD: S, TF: 2). If you are using MetaMod:Source, you also need to update your installaton of MM:S to V.1.8.1.

Here's a list of the changes that have been made:

* Created a seperate flag for ma_unban & the ma_unban menu (flag: unban)
* Created a CVar to randomize button for the "extend map" option for voting
* Added "give a reason" support for ma_kick; new syntax: ma_kick
* Updated code to include stripping out BOM of UTF8 encoded txt files.
* Fixed a problem with the reserved slots not working in "fill" mode
* Fixed ma_effect scanning for 22 effects instead of 24 effects
* Fixed typos in mani_server.cfg
* Fixed header description in .html files in the /data/ folder
* Fixed an issue where large ban lists were not being executed successfully.
* Fixed issue where # of maps shown doesn't match random vote choice.
* Keeps ban times < 1 ( at time of level switch ) from turning into permanent bans.

After loading you should receive the following information:

- The date this binary was built.

Items fixed in this release:

* Command spam protection "floods" logfiles is now fixed
* Description of Team Kill / Wound Protection System fixed in mani_server.cfg
* meta unload no longer causes Mani Admin Plugin to crash server
* restoration of sv_cheats after noclip has been fixed
* TF2 Bots no longer crash the server if Mani Admin Plugin is installed
* Fixed the log output of bans
* Fixed the password bypass from saying incorrect password.


Items restored in this release:

* mani_reserve_slots_redirect now works again
* restored the reserve slots if mani_reserve_slots_allow_slot_fill is set to 0. If set to 1, then new method is still used.
