5th July, 2023 - Algerian troops, supported by the French 5é Air Corps and Foreign Legion special forces crossed from Algeria into Tuareg occupied Libya in a General Offesnive towards Ubari and Ghadames. Any and all forces in the Tuareg Detachment have been offered the chance to peacefully unite with the GNA.

Resistance is still expected however, and where pockets of ristance are found the 5é Air Corps will carry out Strategic strikes before being followed up be special force deployment to the area to aid Algerian troops in removing pockets of resistance.

FIFA is trying to get back on track with it's bidding process, which is usually 8-10 years before World Cups are held. Thus bids for the 2030 and 2034 World Cups will be held in 2023 and 2024 respectively. The World Cup in 2030 will mark 100 years since the inaugural World Cup; held in Uruguay. This event is of such significant importance that FIFA will make an exception to it's rule and allow all Confederations to bid for the World Cup in this year, which would mean that the AFC (2022) and CONCACAF (2026) may attempt a bid for the Centennial World Cup. Australia and the United States may only put in a bid if it is as a joint bid with atleast one other country from their confederation.

With no other Football Federation competing for the 2026 World Cup, the honour of hosting the event will be given to the United States. The United States already possesses more than enough stadiums that would be suitable to host the event. The United States will automatically qualify for 2026 as the first of six slots given for CONCACAF qualification. As such, CONCACAF may not bid for the 2030 or 2034 World Cups, while UEFA may put in a bid when the selection process for the 2030 World Cup when the process goes underway later this year.

As the first potential bid from UEFA - the Football Federation of Belarus has announced an intention to bid for the 2030 World Cup and may cooperate with Poland to co-host the event. The Belarusian Football Federation has put forward a new plan to upgrade stadiums across the country, although the National Assembly of Belarus has stated that the plans were 'somewhat unrealistic' while President Lukashenko has supported the idea.

The Confédération des Nations Français is not only an economic and trade alliance between Metropolitan France and its old colonies, but during certain circumstances can also play a military role. While the head offices for the Confederation are based in Paris, the military structure of Confederation is not the same, since members of the confederation are located in Europe, Africa, South America, North America, The Indian & Pacific Oceans and the Middle East The confederation's Military authority is split into sections. These sections fall under the regional confederation offices. These offices represent the confederation in the regions that fall under them, and do more the mere military organisation, but organise aid in the countries, offer economic advise, help with building new housing and improving the life standards in countries that need the help. The Confederation's current aim is one of modernisation in member countries who lack sufficient amounts of water or lack agricultural knowledge/understanding to create sustained sources of food.
