well it looks like it is staying for the time being at east until Baker the box owner decides otherwise, I'll keep updating when I can (it's updated to current version now btw) but I wont be around as often as I was :)

server updated: to some extent bambi is right, we were shutting down, its not my box I just ran the ark server.
I felt bad because the ark server was hogging most of the resources and the population imo wasn't stable enough to justify it.
I thought Baker would have shut it down by now but on the musty forum he is encouraging people to play on it.
I won't be around as much these days, Ark server was taking up way too much of my life, I was coming home from work and just diving straight on the computer, even connecting to the dedibox from my phone at work to update it.
I'm enjoying a break from any serious gaming atm, I dunno where we go from here to be honest, I was hoping somebody would have stepped up by now to take over the community from this server/steamgroup and let the transfers happen and they could have charge of this steamgroup.

I saw that as well but Wooly made an annoucement saying it was closing and he activated the obelisks so people could upload their character and dinos to another server. He also said he would keep it open for a while to give people a chance to find another server. Wooly said he cant justify the traffic on his dedibox with the resources Ark takes to run the server. He said someone else would be handling group but as far as I know they still havent "taken over". Not sure why the comments or the announcement is no longer showing? Maybe Wooly changed his mind? Im not sure at this point and have only been playing local single server since.

So is the server shut down or just out of date? Arkservers.net shows its still up, but the mods are out of date.

The server was shut down timtam. Although, Im not seeing the comments regarding it shutting down any longer. Never heard any more after the announcement to shut it down.

For some reason the server isn't showing up for me when i look in favorites, my survivor, or un official server? Can someone Please Help me Thx.

seems the latest update to raft mod is causing conflicts :(

server seems to have shut down twice since updating raft mod, Im just verifying files and reinstaling mods, be as quick as I can :)

Hey there, our tribe tried the teleporter out and it doesnt seem to work. it worked a few times very badly then didnt work at all. Is there a trick to this? If it still doesnt work could I suggest the Star gate as a replacement?

try unsubscribing to all mods, let steam do the download update if there is one, then quit steam. log back on steam, resubscribe to mods and let them download.

Try downloading and running ccleaner (free) ..it clears out any temp files/tracking cookies/junk

going to check that next. maybe my router? windows firewall has steam and ark allowed and the only anti virus I use is defender. ark and steam allowed on that as well. next step is to call comp support. who knows, maybe i have a defective hard drive.

thanks Wooly, and you are right. only me. my tribe mate has same exact comp as me, no problem. I dont even have hardly anything installed on my 1TB drive. Still have over 900 GB space. I am reinstalling windows again. My comp is only 6 months old.

Once I can get my daughter off the PC Ill update the server... Aswell as bringing it uptodate there is an update to the more seeds mod. Minature redwood seed that produces sap. Handy for making those cakes for snails :)

I read on the logs someone was stuck, if you jump on I can free you :) if I'm not on tommy290 can too

Added Show/Hide Sail ability to both types of sails
Added ability to paint Barrel, Dingy (Decor) and Crafting Table

noticed it was a bit laggy then so just done a kill wild dinos, hopefully get rid of the overspawn of dimetrodons on lava island etc

Hey wooly, I'm having a bit of an issue. I accidently left my tribe (I'm the only member in the tribe) and now I can't access any of my chests or structures. Please let me know of a time when you'll be online so that I can get on aswell to fix this if it's possible.

Pro trail mix tip: when encumbered eat a trailmix = no longer encumbered until your weight changes again.
