Hey guys,

I made this group years ago because I loved Master of Orion II, and to this day it's still my absolute favourite game. MOO3 was such a let down and I just kept waiting for the perfect spiritual successor to MOO2 to come along that could breathe new life into the 4X genre. There have been some really good games since then, but nothing that ticks all the boxes in the way that MOO2 did.

Fast-forward to 2010 and I got fed up waiting for the perfect 4X game and decided to make it myself. By this time I had graduated from a masters degree in computer science so I had the skills to develop a game and started work on a sci-fi game engine. Then finally in 2012, I started work full time on the game and brought on board some friends to do art, project management, music etc.

Two successful Kickstarters and two years of development later, and we've now reached the alpha release stage on Predestination, a space 4X game designed to hopefully be a worthy spiritual successor to MOO2. We've just released on Early Access here on Steam, and are using feedback from that to help us guide the game's development as we add new technologies and advanced features like our 3D ship designer, diplomacy & spying, and singleplayer story missions.

I would be really pleased if you guys could give the Early Access a look or share it with your friends. The world needs more indie space 4X games :D
