Baby_Flanks and Sam Sawyer, if you're still having trouble, try installing the mods from the list in the discussion through the steam workshop rather than trying to download them throught he game client. That's solved the problem for a few people. Sorry nobody got to your comments sooner! We're a bit quicker to respond on Discord, so if you still have problems, try joining and posting in #request_admin_help.

I posted on the forums but are we able to take dinos and/or items off of Aberration before it gets wiped and if so, how? Do we have to go to the surface to transfer?

how about you put aberration pvp and extension core on server 4 as pve and close them so no in and out with dinos and such wipe aberration and put pvp there

I just opened them up today. I thought I did it a while ago, but I'm aparently no good.

Is there any chance we could please get character transfers to Aberration open? My character is currently on Ragnarok and can't get back to my Aberration base, and it would be nice to be able to travel freely back and forth.

Yes. Each player in a tribe can have their own base, plus a community tribe base. :)

May be a silly question but what does 1 base per person per tribe mean? If there are 2 people in a tribe, can the tribe have 2 bases?

Are you able to post a direct link to join a server? I'm trying to join the Aberration server, but can't find it in the search on Ark.

Confirmed that the server was down several times yesterday. And sometimes, like right now, it's down over an hour for some reason. Does the restart need to be done manually?

Island server has been crashing over the last couple days. I believe the issue that is causing it is the resuable grappling hooks mod. Both days I have seen the server become unresponsive and then go down right after using my reusable grapplilng hook. I dont know how many people use them, but I use mine alot so it could just be a coincidence. But I dont think it is.

Yeah, I did all that. I'm just doing a full uninstall & reinstall. Putting it on my SSD now that I can fit it on there.

Have you updated your video drivers recently? Looks like it may be an audio or video output error. May be able to run a repair to fix a faulty file, or start the game with lower settings and see if that works and slowly turn things up to figure out what exactly is causing it.

@siander Funny you should call the admins lazy since you know I spend hours every day helping people, both in my role as an admin and as a player. In fact, when you decided to return to the server, I gave you my 17 best rexes, all with ascendant saddles AND 500 element. When you decided to shuffle about tribes, I responded very quickly and facilitated changes of ownership.

You're bitter because my hands were tied when an Ark bug resulted in the loss of your tribe's dinos. I explained the reasons why I couldn't help, which were mostly that doing so would give you a benefit not available to other players.

I understand that you were angry so I forgive the personal insults that you and your tribemates made to me in chat. However what you posted here is simply not true. The admin team are not lazy at all and the rules are written not "to support lazy admins" but to ensure a fair environment for all.

I sincerely hope you find another server that you enjoy.

Again, Siander, I'm sorry you feel that way. However, if you are going to treat the admins like ♥♥♥♥, especially with the below post, I honestly don't care if you leave. @siander I'm sorry you feel that way. I busted my ass to get the server to where it is. I now have a wife and a kid that are my main priority. I put my faith in all of the admins I have appointed. Every server has rules and from what you just described, youre leaving because we wouldn't violate certain rules put in place ON ADMINS. If you have a problem with it, you are more then welcome to find another community.

This community has been nothing but helpful to everyone. I've seen my fair share of everything. I challenge you to find another server, that lets the players have this much choice in how there gaming experience is.

It's just not super active and the mod tends to cause the server to stall or crash. Can't restart it until someone notices or reports it. :(
