Now my Big Question is, everytime when I start the Game it start a Update Download automatically. Is that Really right and normal or what is it??????

Hello all- Are there any group flights events planned?

Level of detail is great! Not geographically perfect but still looks very nice. I had to make some adjustments in the control settings to get my joystick to work well but I think I have that all sorted out now. I have a lot to learn as far as Com but I am getting the Nav figured out quite well. I can manage a solo flight and VFR point-to-point so that's not bad for a non pilot!

I had an issue where the game installed fine (took over 11 hours though), and played fine... but when I tried to implement my HOTAS by editing some .xml files it basically wouldn't start anymore. Steam would start the 500mb/1gb installer, I would get a black screen with a loading wheel, then after a moment would crash straight back to desktop. This helped.

1. Delete the entire game from your hard-drive. (This includes the Steam install AND the packages directory you pointed the Microsoft Flight Simulator installer at. Yep, the 95gb monstrosity)
2. Uninstalling the game through steam will not suffice, I had to find the directory under steam/common/steamapps/Microsoft Flight Simulator and shift+delete it. (another way of deleting without sending to recycle bin, rather into dust instead).
3. Rebooted the desktop and proceeded from start again.
4. Game actually loads up with installation crap and I can begin again!

Did you see that you can't post anything in the steam discussion for MSFS... wow the devs really suck

does anyone have the problem where it will start to download a plane/asset and will just go to halfway or something and then reset back to 0?

787 Dreamliner doesn't appear in my airplane list and i bought the Premium Deluxe Bundle.. what's going on?

even worse now im at downloading update screen that got up to 14% then all the sudden go back to 0% and it keep doing this over and over....

Has anyone had the first load in error where it says "Press any Key to Start"? I can never get past this to download any of the content.

same, first time joining a group. installed flight sim overnight, 4:30 am, steam says i played 3.6 hours. lol, could not find premium deluxe content., found airports etc in profile , content and selected all. but no dreamliner or sr22 , nothing, went to work just loggin in and there is an update which i could see 787 dreamliner in the loading packages.. yay., so fingers crossed will have it all soon , keep u posted., see u in the sky.
