There's no longer a specified format to event scheduling to help make things a little less tedious. Just try and make it clear which game you plan on playing, what map, and what time.

As we're all aware, the group activity of Left 4 SmashBoards has seriously diminished from its previous greatness. In order to get this small community back on its feet, I propose we keep in touch more often to plan more group events.

On another note, I'd also like to welcome a new addition to the group staff:

Vyse.

As the American branch of our group is already well-seated with two staff members, the Australian portion is most definitely in need of greater representation. Seeing as Vyse is one of the most active Australian group members, his appointment comes naturally. (Feel free to reject if you wish, Vyse. I know it came as a surprise to you.)

Despite the distance, we should also consider including Austalian and American players in each others' games. Versus Mode is obviously out of the question, but Campaign and Survival are perfectly playable with high pings. It may or may not be viable, I'm not sure. Just experiment and see if you can come up with something promising.

I'm also planning a group Campaign event for Left 4 Dead on "Heaven Can Wait," this weekend. The exact date can't be worked out until I get more input from group members. Australian group members are encouraged to give feedback and are welcome to participate.

The permissions surrounding the event-scheduling system had been set to be exclusive to group administrators, however, with the recent increase in membership, we have decided to open it to all members of Left 4 SmashBoards.
