If you want EE on Steam, go to the Rebellion website, contact the devs and ask. The more you ask about it, the sooner it comes out on steam.

Bring EE-AOC to Steam! Still the best RTS, won Game of the Year, Fantastic campaign, great use of heros/wonders, and variety of challenges, with ~14 ages, from dark through futuristic.
And did I mention the fantastic campaign, with a great story that is engaging?

Sierra use to own the rights, but not anymore. I'm not sure who owns the rights now if anyone.

Hey everyone - as far as I know, Rebellion owns the rights to Empire Earth currently so I think we all should shoot them a message via Facebook messenger (if you have it) to request Empire Earth and Art of Conquest on Steam. I have also requested Empire Earth 2. I don't mind if they add the original to Steam and no remake. Just having those games here would be legendary. We will all want to do this to get their attention. I messaged them again today about it.

The world is in desperate need of an RTS that allows you to build a civilization. With the modern cpu's and gpu's an updated version of EE-AOC would be AWESOME. Hope Steam can at least get their hands on the older versions one day.

I said it once, I'll say it again: EE-AOC Hands down the best RTS ever. Seriously, this game needs to be given the same love that AOE2 has gotten.

mmmm k. I had a feeling but really didnt know for sure. (might as well probaby get rid of the game then so I dont get into trouble with anybody :/) I got alot of abandonware games recently that were put online for free that were for the dos and antique windows games, so i assumed this wouldve been the same ordeal as that it was free too.

Hey! I just found this group here on steam, ( I too wished for steam to have this game, this was my childhood basically) and I found on a place where you can download the gold edition. ( it takes a little time and effort to do so, but Ive been playing for a few months now and everything came out safe in the end.) (to be quite clear and honest I hope this is legal, since EE is classified as abandonware apprently, but idk)

Only side note is that only AoW only works for me for some reason, and only after a few resolution settings tweaks. :/ if somebody can find a way to get EE to work, please tell me

(bonus update: appprently there IS a mod that you can do to AoE that brings up online mutiplayer servers to use from the NeoEE site, but it seems very sketchy. download at your own risk)

Yes, I still have the original disc and the Art of Conquest with it, but it would be so nice to be able to play it on Steam. I hope this works out with the companies.

I sent another inquiry today to https://rebellion.com/contact who owns the rights to Empire Earth and options for Steam play. Awaiting a response after the holidays.

I played this game when I was growing up, this game is absolutely amazing. Its aged compared to all other games, but its still 1 of the best games I played back in the day, I would love for this to be added to steam so I can start playing it again :D

ive never played this game before, but i heard about it. and immediatly thought Rise of nations, but it goes farther into the future. and would absolutly love to add it to steam
