Hey, everyone. This is OpenWorldAddict here. Just want to apologize not keeping on top of things here. I will try to improve, been busy doing alot of stuff. Recently founded my one fan group because some of my followers wanted one, so I have been working with that as well.

We have some new people in this group that I have found over the last couple of weeks. Welcome! Please check out the member rules and post your let's player profile in the discussion so that we can get ot know more about you.

I hope this community of Let's players will get larger with more conversations about what we love doing, streaming and let's playing.

So, I have been inactive with this group for a long time because of many personal issues that have been going on. However, things seem to be settling down and just like I am becoming more active on my YouTube Channel, I plan on becoming more active here as well.

This group is still small, and I hope to get it to grow a bit more. There are alot of LPers out there that i have yet to contact.

I hope everyone else hasn't given up on this group. If you haven't already, please post your Let's Player Profile on the discussions tab, and for those that have already created one, don't forgot to check by to update it. I've updated the rules as well to prevent anyone from posting advertisements in the diiscussion forums, but to tell you the truth I haven't been keeping tabs on it enough before to take appropriate action. That will change soon.

Note: I also will be kicking people out of the group who haven't been doing any LP's for the last 12 months. I think 12 months of lack of content is a sure sign that the particular member does not plan on doing any more Let' s Plays, and I would like to keep the number of members small enough to be managable as well as giving active LPers a place to come together to talk to each other, which is the whole point of this community hall.

Some of these things will be hard to do alone, and i of course will miss others that go over my head. So if you see anyone posting advertisements in the discussion forums or see anyone on the group who hasn't done any LPing for the last six months to a year, please let me know. Some help would be appreciated.

I hope in the upcoming months that I will see more acivity in this group. I definetly will be putting more work into it. As always, if you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns, let me know in the private message.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and now that new year is here I would like to make it a wonderful new year for this LP Community Hall.

Member Privelige: Create Event for Co-op LP

One of the priveliges that all members share is the ablitiy to create an event. This is useful since you can set up the start time of a Co-op LP.

Here's some instructions for setting up a Co-op LP.

1. Before you set up the Co-op LP, create a discussion under the Co-op LP Request area. Tell the name game that you will be using, what type of game it is for people that don't know, describe your plan for LP, an how many players can be apart of it.

2. Now you will need to wait until you get response from those that want partake in the LP. Once you have what you need, now you can set up an events to schedule Lp.

3. In the event creation menu the following things are essential
A. The name of the of the event should be: (name of game) CO-LP (session #) (name of players)
B. Be sure to select the event type as 'Play a Game' and then to select the game on the selection below the event type.

That is all that's required. If you are using a specific server, remember to put that information in, if you are using a password, that should be there too.

I only know a few people who do LPs, because of this I need help looking for new members. This is an invite only group, so if you know anyone that is an active LPer that should be part of this group, please let me know. I am hoping for this group to get quite large, so as of now there isn't a limit to membership.

Member Rules and Requiremnts

Member Rules:
1. Members are expected to be curteous and kind to each other
2. Discussions should not be anything that isn't related to Let's Plays
3. Don't post anything that will obviously be an advertisement to your channel. You can do the following things with your channel:
4. Don't post anything that is any kind of advertisement meant to make money.
A. Mention it in your Let's Player Profile
B. Asking for people's advice and opinions (helping each other is what this place is all about)
C. Requesting a shout-out from other people (you can do this only once)

Member Requirements:

1. Active Let's Player: It is required that you keep active in doing your Let's Plays to keep your membership in this group. Active Let's playing means uploading at least one video a week. If it has been awhile after your last upload (meaning 4 to 6 weeks,) I will personally ask you if you plan on contiuing. If not or you are unreachable, you will be kicked from the group. PLEASE!!! If something or another has come up and you can't continue doing let's plays for a month or more, please remove yourself from the group to save me the extra work. You can always message me when you are ready to return.
Exception: The only exception to this requirement is when a Let's Player hasn't uploaded anything for awhile not because they have gotten around to it or they got to busy, but it because their having problems either recording, editing, compressing, uploading, or other issues. If you are having problems and can't upload on a regular basis, please let me know so that I know that you are not just being inactive, there is a reason behind. If there is anything that the community can do to help you resolve the problem, it is expected that you will ask for help, and respond to any provided. Doing this shows that a solution is being worked on.

2. A Let's Player Profile: As soon as you can, go to the discussions labeled Let's Player Profile, and create your own profile. You do not have to do it right away, but it should be available for others to see quickly. If you do not have a Let's Players Profile after a week, you'll get a reminder that you have to do it. If another week passes, you'll get a warning, and by the third week passes, you'll be kicked off the group. Let's Player Profile should have the following things.

A. Your steam name
B. The kind of let's player you are (fast action oriented, slow roleplay oriented, etc.)
C. Your channel(s) details. This should include everything about your channel whether on Youtube or another video hosting service. A must have here is a link to your channel.
D. The Let's Plays you are currently doing, and your progress in them.
E. The Let's Play you plan on doing in the future.
F. Information about your computer system setup
G. What kind of Recording software you use
H. What kind of editing software you use.
E. Anything else that you want to tell the community about yourself and your LPs.

Please be aware that these rules and requirements are subject to change, so please keep your eye on this.
