I've had it with this childish ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Here I am thinking all of this post-Teamspeak bickering is done and over with, and then I check the NAS page today to see that there is now a "rebellion" group with some stupidly inane and hypocritical description further reigniting and trying to divide people for no good reason, and that many people on my friend's list and catalysts of the original argument are a part of it, and what's worse, is the reasons listed why.

I don't know what everyone's problem is, but you all seriously need to get over yourselves and let it go.

I wasn't planning on ever taking sides, which is why I didn't remove myself from this group, but after seeing this, I want no part of it. If that means that you don't want to be bothered with me either, then so be it, but I'm done.

Oh one more thing, I'd like to toss another re-recommendation for a custom campaign in Left 4 Dead 2 (actually this might be my first recommendation for it).

Diescraper Redux - For the most part pretty solid all the way through. Where it really shines (while exhibiting some bad Nav for the bots) is in the finale. Some amazing lighting effects coupled with a new twist in the latest version make this one that you'll probably remember, and will likely hope Valve or other community modders take the initiative to try to work into this type of finale in the future. Without giving too much away I'll just say that don't expect this finale to end in the way it you think it will.

If you played the custom survival map "Highup" in Left 4 Dead 1, this is the campaign it was the finale for. I think it is also is available on L4D1, but I haven't actually checked. Either way, if you're looking to expand on your L4D2 community content, I'm pretty sure it is a safe bet that you'll enjoy this one too.

Hate to sound like a broken record here, but we have made some nice strides (and in some cases, leaps and bounds) forward in the times that we have posted in the group description, we should really update them sometime soon.

if i could i would 120% agree with sparkster, but at last, i can only go to 100%. no human can go above 100%. Sucide Bilitz 2 is a wonderful map. In facted, sparkster and i just played it, and i loved it. And to top it all off, their is a survival map. This is like ice cream with a cherry on top. if you are bored, or are tired of the same old same, this map will give you a refresh start in the left for dead series. Trust us, you will not reget this. :)

HIGHLY recommend everyone download this one asap. There are some really fantastic community campaigns out there and this one easily belongs at the top with the best. This guy improved his original L4D1 campaign in ways I didn't think he could and it is an absolutely incredible thrill from start to finish.

I cannot speak highly enough of it, if you haven't played L4D2 in a while, this is DEFINITELY worth your time.

i agree with sparkster, with more custom maps in our creed of pros if you will, it should end the boredness among us, if i am not the only one feeling it. besides, custom maps bring a sense of freshness back to creed of zombie pros. :)

Brought this up before but I'd like to bring it up again, lets start cycling some custom maps into the rotation to keep things interesting.

Since I don't know how many people actually downloaded some of those custom maps I suggested a while back (the comment is still here, just look through the older ones), I'm going to suggest just one right now for everyone to start with. Knowing our playstyles, I think everyone will enjoy this one that came out way back in July 2009, called Blood Rails.

According to previews, Dead Island will be an open-ended sandbox zombie survival game in the first-person but with an emphasis on melee combat. You play one of four characters who wakes up in his or her hotel room after a night of heavy partying on a New Guinea resort island only to discover that theres been a zombie outbreak sometime during the night. Your character is immune from infection for some reason and must try to survive the scourge as long as possible, scavenging weapons on the way.

Oh and still looking for interest for some Left 4 Dead 2 survival runs sometime. St3v3 and Thal said they were good to go, so we need at least one more to fill the team. Got gold on everything (legit w/2-3bots no less) except for No Mercy rooftop (L4D2 version) so I have plans for essentially everything.

EDIT: One more thing, Thal was voicing his concern, and I should also warn of this. AVOID Freezer Burn for Left 4 Dead 2 and Heaven Can Wait for both games, they screw with tank textures and cause other problems.

Also, Dead Before Dawn for L4D2 is also available as of yesterday. Half a gig in size, its great, pick it up!

I would also suggest LFD1 survival maps "Ravenholm" and "Scenic Lookout". Tested and working. Most of these maps are self-extracting. Open zip and double click on what is inside.

If anyone wants to do the "I Hate Mountains" campaign sometime, let me know. I've read from multiple sources that this campaign rocks.
