Open KH!

KH is now an open to all who wish to join group, those who had pending requests will be automatically accepted.

I will write a quick list of the plugins of KH server sometime soon, and if we see more activity, I will try to give a quick update on things every now and again.

For those who were waiting all this time, my apologies, I wasn't aware of any join requests, if Steam gave notifications of them I would've seen them sooner.

[No Pain, No Gain!]Server Update #5 (August 28, 2019)

Hello.

After playing on the server for quite a while and thinking about certain things, I decided it's time to go back. Back to one of its first hardcore installements. As always, some quality of life improvements have been implemented.

The following changes have been made to the server:

Gameplay:
  • The ability to self-revive from incaps using pills or adrenaline has been restored. Hold E and make sure you don't move or get hit by anything.

  • Boxes will now drop items again.

  • Starting weapons on all maps have been fixed and will now spawn correctly.

  • Ragdoll animations have been restored. Reviving dead players is no longer possible.

  • All defibrillator spawns have been replaced with pills/adrenaline spawns.

Common Infected:
  • CI will now try to avoid your hits and gunfire more effectively.

  • CI max mob sizes and limits decreased to preserve server performance.

Special Infected:
  • Due to some fixes that suddenly decided it's time for them to finally work, SI's hitpoints (excluding Witch) got increased.

  • SI like Jockey or Smoker will now kill survivors driven off ledges, meaning there will be no "ledge-hang".

  • Hunter has been restored to his former glory. Once again, he's a very dangerous SI hopping all around, pushing from everything, being generally very fast and annoying. And mind you, 4 of them can spawn at once.

  • Tank will now try to get himself unstuck if ... stuck.

  • Second Tank timer has been decreased (will appear sooner).

  • Charger will now charge survivors only up close.

  • Charger's charge duration has been decreased from 7 to 3 seconds.

Weapons:
  • Chainsaw effectiveness has been increased.

  • Pipebomb damage increased further.

  • All shotguns have their FF value decreased.

  • SSG552 and Desert Rifle damage increased.

[No Pain, No Gain!] Server Update #4. August 2, 2019.

Gameplay:
  • Issue: Starting weapons on all maps have been removed due to a plugin conflict. This will have to be rebuilt manually and will take time.


  • New get up animation fixes have been implemented. There should be no problems with animations played twice after pounces/charges etc.

  • Reminder: The ability to self-pickup using meds has been removed. Temporarily or not will be decided later on.

  • Reminder:Typing !stuck in chat will teleport any player who's actually stuck to nearby teammates.

  • Reminder:Riot cops are easier to kill now by bodyshots or headshots.

  • Dynamic paths have been removed until better times.

Special Infected:
  • Revised: The server's officially changed the SI spawn system to versus-like 4 SI at the same time with no exceptions. Everything should work fine.

Guns:
  • Bile range upon throwing the grenade is increased (self-bile included) in order to fix some issues.

Miscellaneous:
  • Dynamic lights from fire entities have been removed to preserve performance.

[No Pain, No Gain!] Server RE-Update #3. June 19, 2019.

Gameplay:
  • Everything on the server is now smoother. Interpolation values reduced to 0.

  • After being finished, the game will no longer return to lobby allowing anyone to change the map.

  • Get up animation fixes have been implemented. There will no longer be any problems with getting up after pounce/charges etc.

  • The ability to self-pickup using meds has been removed. Temporarily or not will be decided later on.

  • Typing !stuck in chat will teleport any player who's actually stuck to nearby teammates.

  • The bullet fire position fix[github.com] has been installed.

  • Most of the L4D2 maps now have dynamic paths, that will reset upon restarts.

  • The amount of Riot cops on each map is reduced by 50%.

  • Riot cops are easier to kill now by bodyshots or headshots.
Special Infected:
  • The server's officially changed the SI spawn system to versus-like 4 SI at the same time with no exceptions (up to 6 SI in the game at the same time). The spawn is supposed to be between 35 and 45 seconds.

  • Boomer's Vomit Range got increased values again.

Survivor Bots:
  • Bots now deal 25% more damage to infected and have a 25% resistance to incoming damage.

  • Bots are now able to scavenge gascans.

  • Bots are now able to throw grenades (usually vs Tank).

Guns:
  • Bile range upon throwing the grenade is reduced (self-bile included).
